Gabriel's pov

Which one? I say to myself as I looked at the wide variety of colorful flowers in the aisle.

I mean she likes daisys but she also loves pink

Just pick one... I grabbed the pink roses and went to the register to pay for them.

I walked out of the store with the roses in hand.

Thankfully the store wasn't far from the school since I was able to quickly run back

'Since the play is almost over I'll just wait for it to end then give her the roses' I think to myself as I speed walked through the empty halls.

I opened the red double doors and went inside the theater. I made my way through the crowded theater and took a seat in the front row, holding the flowers closer to the ground so she couldn't see them.

The stage lights lit up and I saw her in a pretty blue plaid dress, her curly blonde hair in two pigtails secured by two blue bows, her blue eyes shimmering under the stage lights, her skin glowing... she's the literal definition of heaven on earth cause she's an angel... which I know sounds corny but I can't help it she's gorgeous.

She said the last line,the cast waved as the curtains closed, the audience clapped blah blah blah.

I waited as everyone started to leave and headed backstage since the drama room was right across the hall and I knew she would be there.

I went behind the closed curtains,past the people that were trying to get their props and set peices together and left out the open door in the wayy back of the stage

(yall I don't know what they do after a play so js bare wit me😭)

I stood in the doorway the drama room, I saw people getting out of their sweaty costumes but I didn't see her

"Who ya lookin for?" The boy in the tin man costume said as he tried to block the door, wiping silver face paint off of his face with a wet wipe.

"Susie" I said still trying to look inside of the room, with the boy blocking my view.

"We have two people named susie that were in the play. You're gonna need to be more specific" he said still blocking my view

"And your gonna need to stop using that wet wipe and get a Damm rag" I said shoving him out the way by his forehead.

"Shiny forehead having ass bitch" I added on, wiping the paint and sweat off of my hand with a paper towel.

I went inside the drama teachers office "Hey Mrs Riley have-

"She's in the dressing room" she said cutting me off, I nodded and left her office closing the door behind me

I went into the dressing room, there were a couple of people already in there so I tried my best to stay out of their way.

Finally I found her, she was already out of her costume and was now taking her hair out of those pigtails, she looked as If she was in a bad mood

"Hey babe" I say as I walk up to her holding the roses behind my back

"Heyy baby" she said giving me a peck on the lips

"What's that behind your back?" She said pointing at the flowers

"I got them for you" I said handing her the flowers, her face lit up as she took them

"Aww thank you" she said pulling me into a tight squeeze burying her face into my yellow shirt

"I wanted to give you a gift for how good you did in the play" I said, she reached up and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

*ringgg* the bell went off and the kids in the drama room started to get their stuff ready to switch classes

"Ready for me to walk you to class?" I asked

"Yup" she replied putting her bag on her back "Let's go" she grabbed my hand and led me out of the drama room and into the busy hall......
