Chapter 20

As Pierre ended the Free Practices and his meetings he walked to the Paddock Club to pick up his girlfriend

"Hello ladies!" Pierre said smiling at the girls and placing a kiss to Lucia's lips

"Hey babe!" Lucia said smiling and she stood up "We're leaving?"

"Yeah!" Pierre replied and Charles appeared smiling

"Hello ladies!" Charles said and he kissed Charlotte

"I am here too!" Pierre said

"I said! Hello ladies!" Charles replied laughing

"Pierre and I want to say you a big thank you for the plan you had!" Lucia said smiling and looking at the Monegasque couple

"You can return the favour back if you let me be the godfather of your child!" Charles said proudly

"Deal" Pierre nodded seriously but smiling

"Oh my God" Lucia murmured laughing "Let's go now! See you tomorrow!"

"Bye bye!" Pierre said waving at them

"Ciao" Charlotte said smiling

"Pierre! Be a good boy!" Charles said smirking

"Always!" Pierre replied laughing

Lucia and Pierre walked in his car, as they got in the French started driving to their hotel

"Did you speak again to Marie?" Lucia asked nervously

"No I don't really want" Pierre replied looking at the road "she doesn't want me happy"

"Are you happy?" Lucia asked smiling

"Totally" Pierre looked at her for a second and she blushed a little "I love you"

"I love you too" Lucia replied smiling

Lucia avoided go in Alpha Tauri on Qualifying as well, but on Sunday she promised Pierre watch the race from his garage

Lucia arrived to Pierre's garage a few minutes later before the race started, he was talking with his parents and sister

"Hey" Lucia said smiling

"Hey mon ange" Pierre placed a kiss to her head placing his arm around her shoulders

"Hello my dear" Pascale said smiling "Will you sit here to watch the race?"

"Ehm... yes I will" Lucia replied feeling awkward

"We're leaving you two now! The race starts! Good luck my son" Jean gave a hug to his son and Pascale as well, Marie avoided telling him something in French and giving him an ironic smile then they walked away and Lucia stayed alone with Pierre

"Hate her" Pierre murmured

"It's okay" Lucia stroked his back "You qualified P8 yesterday right?"

"Yes!" Pierre sighed "What do you think Toto wants me?"

"I heard that Lewis' contract ends the next season" Lucia said smiling "You have contract for the upcoming season!"

"I don't know I am so curious..." Pierre smiled and he kissed her "I love you"

"I love you too and be careful out there!" Lucia replied smiling and she walked to sit next to Pascale

"What has happened between you and Marie?" Pascale asked and the Italian girl sighed

"I don't want to talk about it! She was so mad when she learned about me and Pierre! And I don't really know the reason! I thought she would be happy!" Lucia replied having her nerves

"It's okay... you and Pierre are right I will try talk to her! You didn't do anything wrong! Love is never something wrong!" Pascale said to her

The formation lap started, the lights opened and its lights out and away we go!

On the first corner all the drivers were close and Pierre was close with Lando from his left side and in front of him was George close as well

George made a wrong brake and he hit Pierre on the back and the French's car left from right and nothing happened to Lando

Lucia immediately stood up, Pierre didn't reply to the team radio

It was red flag and all the cars stayed parked on the pit road

"Where is Pierre?" Lucia asked nervously

Paramedics took Pierre out of the car and they placed him into the ambulance

The other minute he slowly opened his eyes looking people saying something in Spanish
