Bread and Butter

PROLOGUE*

Isabella Ellis

(Flashback 2019)

I've been here since five in the morning. I'm taking care of all of them. I never left because maybe one of them would need me. They need to buy their food, fix their things, and fix their clothes. I worked here because my dad disappeared and they needed someone who knew how things were going on the tour.

I am happy with my work, and my coworkers are easy to get along with. especially the boys; they are the reason I'm here. I worked for them. I took care of them every day. Besides my dog, they are the reason I still choose to live.

"Alright! Let's wrap this up! I'll just let you know when it's released." The manager shouts and that's my cue to pack their things and leave.

"Finally!" Niall shouts.

"I'm so thirsty, Hey Bella? Can you pass me a bottle of water? Thank you." Harry asks politely.

"Alright, I bet you're very thirsty because the air from that fan is very hot." I said, and Harry just smiled.

"Bella, can you give me a bottle too?" Louis asked.

"Yeah sure lou, here." I passed him the bottle.

While they were resting, I started putting away their things. clothes scattered on the floor, things for their hair and started to put in a big bag.

"Hey" I heard a deep English voice behind me, and I really knew who it was.

"Hey!" I turned myself towards Harry, and I saw him smiling.

"Uh.. Bella I w-want.. n-no it's uhh.. it's a n-need. Yes! It's a need." He stammered.

"Harry. Relax, it's just me. Tell me what it is." I said.

"That's the problem; it's you." He whispered.

"What?" I can't clearly hear what he said.

"Can I take you on a date?" He told me with his eyes closed.

"Huh? Me? Why me? Uh haha uh? What?" I can't believe he's asking me that; I'm just the band's assistant who fixes their clothes and gives them their needs around this set.

"I said I'd like to take you on a date. Don't worry if you don't want to; it's okay. But take it as a friendly date." He said while smiling at me.

"Okay."

"What?" Harry questioned as though he couldn't believe that I accepted the date he had been seeking.

I can't believe that Bella agreed to our date. I've been wanting to ask her for so long, but I can't because I don't know when to ask her. I just like her; she's kind, funny, smart, and the most genuine person I've ever met. Since the day she started working here, I can't take my eyes off of her.

One time, one of the directors was mad because Niall couldn't get what the director said to him, and he blamed Bella for not getting what he wanted Niall to do. And Bella really handled that well. She kept everyone on the set at ease, spoke intelligently about it, and also gave us a concept for the final cut of our upcoming music video.

The truth is, Bella made a significant contribution to the set. She was not only diligent, but she also provided advice for all of us. In addition, Bella was incredibly kind; she never left us alone whether we were thirsty, hungry, or exhausted. She was a huge help to us. and I sincerely appreciate her.
