Part-2

Evening when Yuvi came back from college, Aahan told him to freshen up and meet him in the study. Yuvi knew going to study and having a talk with his bhaiya was definitely not a good one. His Dad was still in the office and Yuvi could not think of any other escape plan so simply complied to his bhaiya.

Aahan was patiently waiting for Yuvi to come. And Yuvi took his sweet time to freshen up and have his snacks.

There was a soft knock and Aahan could not help but smile a bit. His Yuvi always barged in every room except study, it felt he is more scared of the study room than his bhaiya.

Yuvi smiling nervously asked, "Bhaiya, did you call me?"

Aahan took a deep breath and replied," Bachcha, we are going to have some serious talk today" And asked him sit opposite to him.

"Bhaiya, Life is too short to have serious talks. I think we should not have any talks today and postpone it to some other day"

"Yuvi, no timepass. All I want to ask you is,what actually you want to do in life? It's fine if you are not interested in studies. All you have to do is complete your education and pursue your hobby. But what are your hobbies? Do you actually have any hobbies other than lazing around."

"Hobbies? Ahh! bhaiya, I can't think of anything now."

"Are you really not interested in studies? Today I got a call from your college stating that you have only 30 percent attendence overall. What were you doing daily going to college and not attending classes?"

"Bhaiya, I think it's already late we should go and have dinner" saying so Yuvi got up from his chair and was about to go out but Aahan stopped him.

"YUVANSH AHUJA, DONT YOU DARE STEP OUT OF THE ROOM"

"I am asking something, without replying anything, without being serious you are taking everything so lightly".

"Even I let it go thinking you are still a kid. But now I m getting complaints from your college. Everything aside without me telling you to go, you were already leaving. Don't you respect me ?"

Yuvansh eyes filled up hearing the last question. Ofcourse he respected his bhaiya.He let out a sob and said,

"Bhaiya, how can you ask that question? You know right, I respect you more than anyone in the world. You can punish me for these complaints. But don't ask such questions again.If you want, I will do 50 situps now like you always make me do for my mistakes".

Seeing his bacha crying, Aahan hugged the boy tightly and calmed him down. He replied,
" Bacha, I m sorry for saying those words. I didn't mean to hurt you. All I want to tell you is don't neglect your studies even if you don't like it. And it's fine if you don't know what you want to do in your life. You will come to know eventually and things at the end will fall in correct places. But work hard, give your 100 percent in everything you do, be it studies or anything else".

"You will not bunk any classes from now on. If you do, then wait and see what I will do. Okay?"

Yuvansh nods and replies, "Yes, bhaiya. I will not bunk from now on."

Aahan smiled and sat back on the chair and said," Now coming to the best part of the talk, punishment. You told you will do 50 situps,  so start counting."

Yuvi scratched his head and thought why did he even uttered about situps. Seeing Yuvi standing blankly without starting his punishment, Aahan offered to change the punishment.

Yuvi felt instantly happy thinking that now his legs will be spared from pain and he can take any different punishment.

Aahan said, "Okay, then bring your play station and laptop  and keep it here for  ten days after that you can take it back".
