21. Maa!!

Flashback...

9yr Rajveer came from his school annual function upset though he came 1st in academics in his school and was awarded with trophy and certificate...
He was going towards his  parents room to complain her because none of his parents came to school, she has promised him that she will come along with his dad then why she didn't came Rajveer thought because she never break her promise ...

When he came to the room it was all dark her mother don't like darkness he called for her ...

Rajveer - Maa !!..

Getting no response he entered in and what he saw made his heart beat race her mother is sitting on the floor emotionless ,her cheeks having tear stains and hair was all mess...he got scared seeing her like these...
He came towards her ,cupping her face with his small hands he asked ..

Rajveer teary- kya hua maa aap essa kyu baithi ho ??...Maa please kuch toh kaho..

Sunaina came out of her trance and looked at him caressing his face she hugged him as if hiding him from the cruel world and cruelty of people..

Rajveer was getting worried for her...these behaviour was not normal to him ...the mother who alway smile and welcome him to home after school sitting here emotionless and that also in dark room was scarring him...

Sunaina with fake smile- tu 1st aya na teri trophy kha hai dikha mujhe...

Rajveer - maa phele aap yaha se bhar chalo please....

He made her stand and carefully lead her out and made her sit on the couch of living room...
After that he made her drink water and asked again gently...

Rajveer lone tear escape- maa kya baat hai aap itna pareshan kyu lag rhi ho kuch hua hai kya, app toh dad ke sath school mai aane wali thi naa mera annual function attend karne toh kya hua!!..dad ne apse kuch kha kya

Sunaina looked at her kid...it hurt seeing him grow so fast it's not his age to be bother by the family issues ...She want her Rajveer to have normal life just like other kids, but here he is offering her comfort...
Her Rajveer is gem which neither her and nor Arjun knows to cherish they don't deserve such a kid ...

Sunaina- tu phele bata kya khayega thak gya hogga na ??...

Rajveer knowing she is trying to change topic look a ther with sad eyes ...
Seeing sadness in his eyes she hugged him tight and let her tears fall freely...

After few minutes detaching from the hugg she went towards kitchen to cook...And Rajveer sitting and silently watching her ...she is working like robot with no emotion on her face...
And feed him with her own hands...
Rajveer is silently watching her many questions arising in his mind which is scarring him ...

Sunaina- mai thik hu Rajveer, tu apne kamre mai jaa beta...

Rajveer denied not wanting to leave her alone he want to stay with her ...

Sunaina - woh tujhe kal new remote control di thi usne nhi khelna kya tujhe ...

He denied though it is tempting idea he wanted to try it but still he can't leave his mother alone....
Sunaina sigh knowing her kid is not going to go so she went to her room and let him follow her...
He settle beside her on the bed but  she made him lay keeping his head on her lap and gently patting him.. he unknowingly drift off in sleep ... Sunaina looked at his sleeping face and said

Sunaina- beta har maa baap ki yehi iccha hotti hai ki unka baccha unhi ki tarah ho ...pr mai kabhi essa nahi chahti ki tu apne baap jaise khudgarz banne aur apni maa jaisa darpok..
