You can hear a flurry of footsteps and shouts throughout the halls, the sounds increasing in volume with each passing second. All of the MedBay personnel have already started heading towards the source of all the commotion, and Ghost is no different.
my eyes shot open "Oh shit" i quickly got dressed and ran as fast as i could to the medbay
"What's going on?" he yells, as he runs past you. He's quickly headed towards the exit of the MedBay, moving towards the source of the chaos. Ghost's eyes are wide, his expression a mix of worry and anticipation.
Fuck fuck fuck people are hurt i say to myself. Someone had broken in to our base and attacked us. You arrive just in time to witness the chaos, a scene of panic and destruction unfolding before you. Doctors and nurses are rushing back and forth, tending to a steady stream of wounded soldiers. The source of all the commotion is a group of armed Soldiers standing near a broken window, looking ready to fire.
Ghost is in the middle of the action, shouting commands to the staff and helping tend to the wounded. His eyes lock with yours for a brief moment, his expression completely different from the one he gave earlier. He's focused and alert, and his body is moving with military precision.
shit not this "EVERYONE GET DOWN" i had a gun in my back pocket at all times. i had ben trained for this before becoming a nurse. "GHOST GET THE FUCK DOWN" i pointed my gun at the window shooting 3 people. i saw Ghost wasn't moving, i ran to him and pushed him away before we heard a bang and we both fell to the floor.
Ghost's expression changes immediately, a look of fear and shock on his face. But he doesn't hesitate, as he hold your waist as you guys fall on the ground. Your quick reaction to the situation shocks him even more, causing his eyes to go as wide as possible.
"Holy sh-" Ghost cuts himself off he felt a sharp pain in his arm, but he didn't let go of you. I was now on top of ghost, his hands held my waist close to him. I saw him looking out the window at a man. In a fluid motion, he pulls his gun out from behind his back and rolled me over so he was on top of me, he then fires several times at the enemy soldiers taking down about 3 soldiers. He looks down at me, we stared at each other for some seconds. He then got off of me and he his behind a shelf. i too hid behind one of the shelf's.
the room we are in has 4 beads for patiens, i can se the man with the wounded leg that i treated earlier... he didn't move... and it was a lot off blood. I felt i was going to cry. I reloaded my gun and shot another 2 people outside the window. I walk over to the man with the wounded leg.
He shouts several orders at the staff, before looking at you. He motions towards the wounded soldier that you're hiding behind, yelling your name.
"Y/N, please go and help him. I'll take care of the intruders," he says with force in his voice. Ghost is already firing back at the other attackers, trying to get them to back down. But more keep arriving, adding to the chaotic situation.
"Ghost your a patience you should hide, i can handle this!" Ghost continues to fire back at the intruders, his body moving with precision and speed. The intensity in his eyes is unlike anything you've ever seen before.
"No!" he yells back, taking down one of the soldiers and shooting the other in the arm. "I'm still able to fight... just stay calm and go help the wounded," he says with a hint of urgency. It seems as if nothing is going to sway Ghost from his current stance. The sight of him taking them all down as quickly as possible makes your heart flutter slightly.
i nodded and did so, as good as i could all nurses was on deck, in all my 6 years of working as a nurse i had never seen this. The chaos and bloodshed around you is intense, but you're still able to focus on the soldier that you're tending to. It's clear he's been badly wounded; his leg is bleeding profusely and he seems to be in a great deal of pain. His breathing is shallow and quick, but he's still fighting on against the pain.
