Chapter 2

When we got back to the room Mom yelled back at us and said "Girls your friend is here." Logan said, "Is it Jacob or someone else?" Then before I could even say anything Jacob came running through the door. Jacob beamed "Hey guys!" We looked at each other and then looked back at Jacob. "Is Sammie here?!" I said thinking she was here. "No she's not here yet but I'm pretty sure she's on the way!" I replied, "OK, and what about Aspen?" Jacob said, "I'm pretty sure they are on the way too!" Logan suggested, "What if we call or text both of them to see where they are." "Great idea!!!!" Jacob beamed. I called Sammie and Jacob called Aspen. After we both got off our calls I learned that Sammie was just down the street and Jacob told us Aspen was just leaving their house. Jacob said, "I'll be back I have to use the bathroom." "Down the hall to the left," I said because every time Jacob comes over he never remembers where the bathroom is. After Jacob left Logan teased me saying "Are you ready to see Sammie?" She and Christine are the only ones who know I have a crush on Sammie. I won't tell anyone else because Jacob might accidentally make a joke about it and then she'll know. And Aspen is too close to Sammie and they are like best friends so they might tell her. I definitely won't tell Ally because she'll tell Sammie in a heartbeat.
...... now that I think about it I could tell Listerine BUT I don't want Ally to bully her into telling her who I have a crush on-
Couldn't tell Mom or Dad because they would tell the whole family tree and somehow Sammie would find out from that. Won't tell Ryan cause she would tell Ally and then Ally would tell Sammie. Could probably tell Auntie Annie! But she might do the same thing as mom and dad. ANYWAYS back to the story now-   I replied  "Yeah..... I am!" Logan said, "Perfect because her car is at the last  stop light until she's here!" I screamed "WHAT HOW DO YOU KNOW" Logan replied, "Life360 duh?!" I screamed, "I HAVEN'T EVEN GOT READY!" I ran to the bathroom door where Jacob was and banged on it and screamed "HURRY JACOB I NEED TO GET READY!!" He said, "Hold on I'm almost done-" "WHAT'S TAKING YOU SO LONG HURRY UP!" "Katara why are you in such a rush?" "BECAUSE I JUST AM JACOB HURRY UP!" Jacob opened the door saying "ok fine geez." I flew into the bathroom and thought to myself "Ok all you need to do is your eyeliner, your lipliner, and your foundation." Everything was fine until I realized my foundation was gone. Shit. I thought to myself. "Ally must have it because she always steals my stuff." I walked out of the bathroom to go get it and I saw at the front door that Sammie's car was in the driveway. I shouted to Logan "CODE MAROON!" She shouted back "ALRIGHT!" The reason it's called code maroon is that maroon is Sammie's favorite color. After I got my foundation out of Ally's room Sammie was right at the door.

Ok, it's me Logan and I'm gonna take over the story for a few. After Katara shouted at me "Code maroon" I knew to tell Sammie that Katara was in the bathroom and not to tell her that she was getting ready for you. But after Katara told me to code maroon Jacob of course asked me what code maroon was. I just told him it was a cousin thing and not what it meant. Also part of the code maroon is for me to greet Sammie at the door because usually Katara would greet her. So after I told Jacob it was a cousin thing I got up fast and went to the front door. To open it and greet Sammie. I said "Hey Sammie! Sorry Katara couldn't greet you she's just using the bathroom." Sammie said alright it's fine We went to Katara's room waiting for her to finish. Okay, now the story is going back to Katara.

I AM NOW RUSHING AS FAST AS I POSSIBLY CAN! But also doing it smoothly and making it look good! I hear Logan and Sammie walking back to my room. So I have to hurry and finish up my lipliner. And I did! I got out and went to my room to see everyone waiting for me. "Hey, guys!" I said as everyone turned to look at me. "Hey, Katara!" Sammie replied. I asked, "Is Aspen almost here?" Sammie said, "Yeah they should almost be here." Alright, I said. Then we saw Christine run up to the window banging on it. She looked like she just tried to beat someone up and then failed. She looked scared and She screamed, "HELP THERES A DEMON CHILD OUT HERE." We looked at each other very confused. Logan expressed "What is the kid doing?" Christine whispered nervously "He's beating up every single kid in the neighborhood and he got Ally and I tried to get him b-but he got me and, thankfully I escaped. But now... He's going for Miss. Johansend's 4-year-old." We all looked at each other in shock. By the way Miss. Johansend is the nicest lady in the neighborhood. So we all rushed outside to see this kid. Christine trembled "He's right over there." He was heading right for Henny Johansend. Listerine must have seen what was going on and she rushed out here. Lister said, "What's going on?!" I exclaimed, "This kid is going to attack Henny Johansend and the kid already got Ally!" "Oh okay." Then she walked back into the house. But then she came back out because she was bored. And at the worst possible time, Aspen's car pulled up. The kid ran to their car. It happened.
