Just friends?

Bakugo pov

Kirishima had agreed to go to the arcade with me and I was actually happy for once, I'd made a friend even if he does piss me off at times.

*time skip*

Kirishima and I entered the arcade, there was loud music and bright lights coming off every game and machine. We headed towards the till to get a play card and after pondering which game to play first we decided on a quick game of air hockey. Because I obviously couldn't be beaten in that. Turns out I was beaten five times geez this guys good at air hokey.

We'd been at the arcade for over three and a half hours and our tickets were piling up. I looked over to see Kirishima yawning, realising he must be tired I decided to ask him if he'd wanted to pick out prizes I leave. He agreed and we headed over to the prize counter. I saw kirishima eyeing a small shark plushie I was expecting him to grab it and use our tickets to get it but instead he left it looking slightly upset, I couldn't understand why he didn't grab it so when he wasn't looking I grabbed it and used out tickets to claim it. We had decided on using the rest of our tickets on lollies and other small figits, and made our way outside I said goodbye to him and we went our separate ways.

Surprising I actually genuinely enjoyed my day out with a genuine friend. I walked a few paces away only then realising that I still had the small plushie.

Kirishima pov

I'd had the absolute best day out with Bakugo and didn't want it to end. I wanted to think of it as a date but I couldn't as Bakugo definitely didn't think the same we were just two friends hanging out sadly.

When we were looking for prizes to use our tickets on I was eyeing an adorable shark plush for a while I really wanted to get it but didn't want to be a bother and I didn't need it, plus my mum would probably just press me for where I got it from and how much I spent on is as she was always making sure that I didn't spend any excess money on things I didn't need.

I was a few steps away from the entrance of the arcade when I heard the blond boy call out to me, curious of what he wanted I left my storm of thoughts that I was about to be trapped in.

"Hey Kiri I've got something for you, I saw you looking at this in the arcade but you never grabbed it so I got it for you, think of it as a thank you for being my friend," Bakugo explained

"Wow r really, I didn't want to bother you with me wanting it sorry," I replied

"It's no problem really," bakugo spoke kindly.

I decided to push my luck and ran over to Bakugo and hugged him tightly. He didn't immediately push me away which was a surprise. He pulled away fron the hug a few seconds later and I'd never felt so happy. I knew that this ment nothing to him but it was like my world was lighting up and only after a hug.

"Hey no problem I didn't realise you'd get so emotional over a stuffed toy," Bakugo joked

"Shut up, being mean isn't manly now is it," I teased back.

And just like that we went our separate ways once again. We'd see each other tomorrow at school and I'd get to be close to him again and maybe he'll feel the same for me one day, who knows.

Bakugo pov

I'd just walked through thr front door quickly heading up to my room so I could finally relax. Today so much had happend I went from being alone to finaly finding a friend that I actually enjoy spending time with.

The way he hugged me today made the butterflies in my stomach flutter. He was so happy to receive a gift almost like he'd never gotten one before. I could have stayed there hugging him forever but that would be weird because I'm not gay I like girls not guys, even though kirishima looked kind off cute tonight I can't let myself become weak by being gay let alone getting into a relationship. Plus what would my parents think their moody violent son suddenly isn't so strong because he's gay no I can't let myself become weak.

I laid in my bed questioning my I suddenly felt like this but decided to push it down as I always do. Feeling less imotional a just laid I'm bed for what felt like hours unable to fall asleep. I must have in the end because I had woken up at four o'clock in the morning, way earlier than usual and today I really couldn't be fucked dealing with school the only perk would be Kiri. So I decided tobget up and get ready.

Another one done I'm trying to make the chapter 800 words or so from now on but anyway hope you enjoyed this chapter. I'll be back with another one soon ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ
