All you could see was red..

As Calc laid on bloodstained ground beneath him, he stared up at the starry night sky..

It was.. beautiful..

For once he felt at peace, despite being in pain..

He felt himself slowly losing consciousness, but he pulled through..

He shook his head to keep himself from falling asleep, though it made the pain in his throbbing head even worse..

He couldn't sleep.. they all still needed him here..

"Pathetic, is it not?" He said aloud, before coughing up

blood..

He chuckled despite this, who would've thought he'd be killed just because of his only flaw..

Or at least in Xaivial's eyes it was, everyone has their flaws after all. Especially someone as awful as Xaivial.

Suddenly, Calc heard something..

Footsteps? but it's the middle of the night!

Who would be walking around in this part of the forest at this time of no-

"DAD?!" the voice called out, seeming to be nearby..

"l-lookie.. LOOKIE?-" Calc tried to call out, yet failing for he would cough up another helping of blood..

Luckily, it seems his daughter heard him, because before he could say another word, the footsteps turned quick and brisk then he saw his dear friend standing over him.

"CALC?! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!"

"I-"

Calc groaned in pain as he tried to sit up, Lookie immediately kneeled down and laid him back on the ground.

"Dang it, old man.. don't move, you'll hurt yourself more than you already are!"

Calc smiled, somehow, that smile was completely genuine.

"Y'know, I almost thought I'd pass on alone.."

"D o n t, say that.."

"Calm down, I'm just glad you're here.."

Lookie looked around, trying to see if there was anything she could use to stop Calc's bleeding, but alas it was all for naught.

"Shit.." she muttered, "Just keep your eyes open.."

"I'll definitely try.."

Lookie rolled her eyes, and pulled out her phone.. Maybe she could call- NOPE! I guess not!

They're both in the middle of the woods, of course there won't be any reception-
