School went on like any normal school. Cause I only had three classes left boring,lame,and stupid. I began to drive home,but I decided I should drive around getting used to the place. About five minutes of walking I saw an adorable bakery. I saw a medium sign saying Mrs. Cake's Bakery. I was a tad hungry so why not stop by to get some coffee and something to eat.
As walked into the bakery a soothing bell rang from the door.
"Hello" I heard a soft frail voice say.
"Oh,hi." I said a little startled not being able to find where the voice was coming from. Eventually i saw a short lady wearing a white shirt and pink sweater over it and black slacks.
I started to look at what all they served they basically had every treat from angel food cake to zabiglone. just as I was about too ask if she had any suggestions I heard the bells on the door jingle
"Sorry I'm late Mrs. Simmons there was a bunch of traffic and I had to pick up my little brother." I heard a familiar deep voice.
"E? Is that you? Did you miss me is that why you came here awww you really didn't have to you know ill see you to-" He said and I automatically knew it was C.
"Nope came here cause I'm hungry and I don't know my way around so I figured I should find my learn my way around." I said as C rapped an apron around him.
"I recommend the Sugar and Spice latte it's delicious." He said pointing to the menu on the counter infront of me.
"Sure I'll try it."
He began to make my latte and when he was done he gave me my drink and then a little to-go box.
"Um..I didn't order this C."
"I know just take it." He said pushing the box closer.
"Well how much is it all then?" I asked
"On the house." He said smirking
"No I don't feel right taking this." I said pushing the box back.
"How about we share it then miss stubborn."

She sighed then finally said "Fine but you just got to work and what if she needs help?" She said motioning to Mrs. Simmons. It's sweet how she thinks of some one she doesn't even know.
"There's no one here except four people that had already ordered so they're already taken care of."
She started walking towards a booth but I thought she was leaving at first and I guess she could sense it cause she said
"Are you coming or am I just going to eat this my myself?" she let out a small laugh.
I walked towards her sitting opposite of her at the booth while she drank her latte.
"Do you have homework or something?" I said pointing at her laptop that has hanging out of her bag.
"Er...umm...well.." she said a little tongue tied. Then I saw a bunch of drawings in her bag of the same girl but none of them were colored in.
"I draw pictures and color them on Photoshop and people seem to really like them and it takes my mind off things." she said twiddling her thumbs.
"That's awesome. Do you want to see what I got for us to eat?"
"Oh ya I almost forgot." She said opening the lid of the box.
"It's nutella cheese cake."
"Yummm" she said using her fork and taking a tiny bite of it.
We ate all of the cheese cake and sat there in comfortable silence
"Thanks for the cheese cake...it was really good." She said braking the silence.
We chatted forever between me working and when I was working she was editing her pictures.
"Ugh.." I heard her say as I cleaned off some tables
"Something wrong?" I asked.
"I just forgot my dad is probably freaking out."
"Why you don't seem like he type of person that'd get in trouble."
"Well...there's some things you don't know about me. I better run. bye. And thanks again."
"Bye. And it's no problem." I said as i watched her head outside. It was raining and I don't see any cars outside in the parking lot so I told Mrs. Simmons I would stay late tomorrow and grabbed an umbrella from behind the desk and went outside in a hurry. It was dark out. I didn't notice how lond we'd been talking.
"E?!" I yelled not being able to see through the rain.
"What?!" She said then i tuned to the left and saw her standing in the rain shivering. Then she giggled because I didn't notice her standing right next to me.
"I told my dad I've been at the bakery so he wouldn't freak out."
"That's good."
"Why are you out here?" She asked me looking into my eyes. There was a street light so I could see her. I just notices she had one blue eye and one green eye the blue one was faint but the green one was vibrant. I had realized I was just staring at her awkwardly.
"Um...sorry...I didn't want you to walk in the rain by yourself." I said scratching the back of my head.

"That's...really sweet of you" I said thinking out loud.
"No. I want to." He said pulling me closer to him so we could share the umbrella.
we were about 5 minutes away from my house when I said
"I can just walk from here. I'm sure my dad wouldn't be fond of the idea I was with a guy. Even if we are just friends."
"You're shaking here." He said taking off his jacket and trying to put it around me.
"No. I don't want you to get sick put it back on I'll be fine." I pushed the jacket towards him. He obeyed and put back on his damp jacket.
I gave him a hug,he tensed. But he hugged me back.
"Thank you for walking me."
"Seriously it's no problem. Maybe you can meet there tomorrow again?"
"I'd like that." I said with a cheesy smile.
When I went inside my house of course my dad flipped out on me but I told him the same thing I did when I called him earlier and I had also told him I wouldn't be home right away tomorrow either.
"Night dad." I said giving him a hug.
"Night E."
