Chapter 3 - Weakness

It floated near me and knelt down on one of its knees, looking down at me as I was rolling up into a ball, still leaning on the bed. I saw in the corner of my eye that the person who got killed had turned into ashes and flew up to the ceiling like vapor. That sight made my eyes widen. 

That monster noticed it and slowly turned my head to look straight into its eyes. I felt a cold feeling run through my spine whenever I saw its red and ambitious eyes. I breathed heavily and I felt myself lose my vision. I blacked out. 

I woke up in my bed the next morning with scratches and bruises all over my body. As I regained my vision, I saw that thing at the doorway staring into my soul again. I was scared at first, then slowly walked to the door and said while trembling inside 'Please go. I don't want you h-here.' I heard it growl slowly, but a few moments later, It left on its own. I thought 'Phew! He finally left. Wait....He?' 

I sat down wondering why, or how, I called it "he". First of all, How did I know it's gender? I sighed and looked up at the ceiling and saw that something was written on the ceiling......with blood. It said, "I will visit again. Never be scared."

I was creeped out of my wits. I remembered the sheet of paper the cashier gave me before he was killed. I took the paper and went to a huge mirror that was beside my bed. I unfolded the paper and read it in the mirror. I gasped at what was REALLY written.
