When it Rains

When it rains, my mind begins to wander on things I'd like to accomplish in life.

Like making a family, being in love, and loving life.

When it rains, being out in it seems to work the best for me.

I can cry, and no one will see.

When it rains, I go for long walks and small talks with the other person in my head.

Sharing stories about the sweetest moments in our lives; telling each other to just leave it all behind.

When it rains, I get the though of leaving, and never coming back.

To start fresh, like the dawn of spring each year.

When it rains, I no longer see through my eyes, but with my ears.

Hearing of love, laughter, sorrow and tears.

When it rains, life changes, is renewed.

God is washing all our sin away, giving us a brand new day.

When it rains, I don't mind being wet.

Its as if I'm being baptized, restored again.

When it rains, I do not cry out "Oh what a pittyful sight."

But instead I pray "Thank you dear Lord for this beautiful day."

When it rains, life is hesitant and blurry.

Just like when we cry, God is a forgiving God and his tears drop purely out of love for us.

When it rains, don't let it put you down.

Remember it's okay to cry, so please get rid of that frown.

Everyone cries.

Even God.
