Taehyung was feeling pain throughout his entire body, but he still made his way to college.
He wore a high-neck top and kept his head covered with bangs, trying to hide his injuries.
As he walked back from college, dreading his father's impending rage, he unknowingly took a dangerous route.
Lost in his thoughts and keeping his head down, he was startled when someone suddenly grabbed his hand.
Looking up, he was relieved to see his favorite friend.
"Hyungie, you scared me," Tae said, catching his breath and not noticing the concerned look in Jungkook's eyes.
"Why are you wearing this in this heat?" Jungkook frowned, noticing the bandage on Taehyung's forehead but choosing not to comment on it.
"I just wanted to," Tae replied, struggling to lie convincingly.
"That's okay. Come, I'll drop you home. But why did you come this way? It’s one of the most dangerous alleys," Jungkook said calmly, cupping Taehyung's cheeks with gentle concern.
"I’m sorry, hyung," Taehyung mumbled, looking down.
