Chapter 2

TW, mentions death,

Once everything was packed up and in the IMP van Uris helped Neris into the van and got in sitting next to her and putting on his seat belt and once everyone was in Blitz started to drive back to the building

Neris looked out the window for the entirety of the ride with her brother holding her hand while this hurt to know that their father would just send them away not caring of their feelings she was happy since she and her brother could re-build their relationship and be close to each other again like they were when they were kids she never understood why they grew apart when they were younger but what she did know was that they could fix what wasn't there anymore.

she also knew that she would have to get used to harming humans or at the very least learn how to work her spells she knew almost everything about the IMP job but what she didn't know was that how they get on earth was by Stolas' spell book, once at the building they got out to took their bags to the primary office

"Okay, we have an extra room here that we never use so you two can sleep there I'll have Loona put two beds in there for you guys to sleep on" Blitz sannounced  turning to them and showing them the room, as they walked to the room Neris spotted stolas's girmuare and wondered how an imp like blitz was able to get the second king of hell to hand it over for their work, after all a grimuare is not something one would just had over not without a price or something in return from what she'd heard about the Goethias, they won't do anything without a price or something in return

so what had blitz done to where stolas would give his his book of spells which could be dangerous if not handled properly Neris was pulled from her thoughts by her brother calling her name "Neris!" he shouted " huh? " she replied looking at him a bit confused  "Are you okay with us sharing one bed?" he looked down at her as he was 6'1 and she was only 5'4 she also had a little scar over her right back ankle from tripping over a thorn bush Neris wasn't the clumsy type but it was safe to say that she wasn't too careful either

"Yeah, that's fine we've done it before when we were kids"  she declared since she was a little kid she always remembered falling asleep next to Uris in his bed while he read her a story to help her fall asleep a few hours later she and Uris had just finished putting their stuff away in their new room as Neris sat on the bed and looked out the window she couldn't help but think of her Mother and father

well Step-Mother her real mom Asaira was no longer in the picture she'd passed away just a year before Neris turned 17 years old though her and her mom weren't as close as she hoped since she was queen and was always off signing deals the the overlords in other rings of hell her passing still hit her pretty hard the only messed up part was that she was there with her mom when she died in the hospital holding her hand

that's one of the many reasons she isn't good at dealing with death she also wasn't good with arguments or fights and things along that line it wasn't because she was sacred of it it was because she knew if she got in a fight one she wouldn't be able to control her temper and two she just wouldn't win. Soon it was around 5 in the afternoon typically Neris would be going on a walk at this time but she was too upset to even think about going out that puls it was raining she was sitting in the kitchen reading her book while Uris was conversing with blitz when there was a knock at the door.

Neris got up and opened the door. As she opened the door she saw a tall owl around 11'2  he had on an all black suit with a red cape and gloves his eyes a deep red color and ash blue feathers alongside him stood Stolas "Why hello there I am Stolas Goetia, this is My son Hex is Blitz anywhere?" he introduced,

Neris nodded and let them inside not diverging her gaze from Hex she felt her heart drop as he walked past her she then walked him to Blitz's office entering In and knocking on the door "sir? Mr.Goetia would like to speak with you" she informed and walked out as Stolas instructed Hex to leave the room and converse with someone

"So, When did you start working for this place?" He questioned Neris as she sat on the couch reading her book "Just today My mother and father sent me and my brother to work here for a bit so I quote Be a good queen one day"Hex looked at her a bit confused

"You are royalty?" He questioned her as she looked up at him "Yes, I am from the Hellion family, My father thinks I've gone soft on the family name so he sent me here" she replied Hex still looked a bit perplexed to find out that she was the Goethea family's 'rivals' though despite this he couldn't help but feel as if he could see past that and still be friends with her after all she was rather fun to be around
