Akko walked down the corridor at a rapid pace, with noticeable annoyance on her face. This was definitely not her best day. in the beginning , She woke up to find her face completely green from Susi's toxins , and it took a stinging dose of black liquid to remove it.
Then she had to take Finnelan's history class, In other words, she had to spend an hour hearing stories about outdated old women.
Obviously , Akko couldn't stay awake so she took a short nap. Only to wake up to the teacher's screams and the girls' laughter.

The brunette didn't seem to care at all, as she just went and took her place on the bed next to Diana. "It doesn't matter, does it?" She leaned her head on Diana's shoulder. "You are my lover after all" she smiled simply.
Diana was about to correct her that this didn't change anything but she remembered that arguing with Akko is a losing battle. So she remained silent and continued reading her book. Which upset Akko, who narrowed her eyes at the girl.
"Really Diana," her tone came out pained. The blonde was not fooled . "A beautiful girl flirts with you and you keep reading"
"Where is this beautiful girl? I can't see her." diana chuckled upon hearing the girl pouting.
The silence continued for several minutes after that. Diana is on the chair reading while Akko turns on the bed and from time to time she peeks at the blonde. In the end, boredom defeated her so she drew Diana towards her, who flinched at the sudden movement.
"Oh my God, Akko, Can you stop making such sudden movements?" Diana muttered, a noticeable blush on her cheeks.
"Well, could you put the books down for a moment and snuggle with me?" , She wasn't waiting for a reply, put her arms around diana tightly to ensure she couldn't move, and dipped her face in her hair.
Diana can feel Akko's smile above her. "You smell good." Diana just mumbled in the compliment and let her arms feel Akko's back.
"I had a bad day, you know." The brunette ran her fingers through Diana's hair and rubbed it carefully. "I think I might explode."
Diana just laughed and continued to draw circles on her shoulder as the brunette began recounting the details of her day.
"Professor Finnelan is really mean." Akko grumbled as she patted Diana's cheek with the tip of her thumb.
Diana smiled at the statement. Her firm side wanted to remind akko that if it weren't for her behavior, she wouldn't have treated her like this. But this will only kill the mood. She moved her hands to Akko's hair and fiddled with it.
And to be honest, she also believes that this woman can sometimes be...a bit strict.
She raised her head to meet Akko's gaze. She sank into those scarlet eyes that were looking at her with tenderness. The brunette lowered her face down and gently grabbed Diana's cheek. Diana immediately understood what she wanted.

She opened her mouth and then closed it. Even after a year of dating, things like "I love you" still make her blush. In the end, she looked at Akko seriously. But her cheeks failed her.

The brunette laughed at the fragility of her girl. But she would be lying if she said that it didn't make her happy. Diana decided to ignore akko's hard friend pressing against her stomach.

A small smile tugged at the corner of Hanna's lip at the sight of Diana's face. it is true she did not approve of the two's relationship at first, believing that Diana deserved better. But Akko continues to prove her worth day after day. Diana never smiled like that around them. Hanna will not admit that , of course.
"Let's go, Barbs. We can go shopping another time." Barbara nodded in agreement.
