~*CHAPTER 2*~
Sam's P.O.V
My obnoxious alarm clock rang through my ears making me go almost deaf. My face scrunched up and I cover my ears. I rolled over and slammed my alarm clock, but it wouldn't turn off. I moaned in my pillow and tried to block out the sound.
"SAM! TURN YOUR DAMN ALARM CLOCK OFF!"
Woah, someones not in a good mood.
After about a good five minutes, I finally got my alarm clock to shut up. I might have had to through it across the room for it to stop, but it was well worth it. The cold air met with my warm skin as I pulled down my fluffy duvets. I shivered then shuffled over to my en-suite. (A/N Sam's bathroom: http://www.distroarchitecture.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/Charming-Beautiful-small-Bathroom-590x590.jpg) I striped off my clothes and turned on my shower. I waited for the water to heat up before stepping in. I let the warm water wake up my skin. I grabbed my vanilla scented shampoo and conditioner. After about a few lather, rinse, and repeats, I stepped out of the shower and rapped a fluffy towel around my body. I then walked over to my closet (A/N Sam's closet: http://cdn.followpics.com/show/461478293036888644_sJ0IjPtm_c_small.jpg )
I decided on a creme tank top, floral jeans, pink cardigan, and navy blue Vans. I also added jewelry to tie up the look. I then went back in my en-suite to do my hair and makeup. I settled on leaving my strawberry blonde waves in and just waterfall braided it. I applied my usual makeup which consists of black eyeliner and mascara, pink lip gloss, and I decided on adding a bit of eyeshadow today. I looked in the mirror one last time. I wanted to make a good impression on my first day at my new school, well, not exactly a "new" school. I would have gone there if I stayed here. I sigh, grab my iPhone and walk downstairs.
I walk into the kitchen to see my mum fiercely tapping her foot having intense focus on her phone. She then let out a sigh of frustration.
"Mum, is everything alright?"
She was a bit frightened, probably not noticing that I walked in. She sighed and put her head down in defeat.
"They're not letting me transfer to the hospital around the corner. They lost the damn papers and now the spots been taken." She took a sip of her coffee to calm her down. "Now I have to drive 2 hours to get to work."
Really. Isn't my mum's life hard enough?
I sat down next to her and started to rub circles around her back. She quietly thanked me and got back to texting.
I thought for a moment. " I could take care of the house. Just give me a list of chores and I'll be sure to do them. Now you won't have to worry as much."
She gave me a weak smile and said that she would think about it. I got up and took an apple from the basket. I then grabbed my bag and headed out the door.
"BYE MUM!"
I didn't wait for a response and walked out. I probably could never get use to the wonderful smell of clean air. It was nice having it back. Yeah.. Sorry for my awkwardness...
As I was walking to school I passed a Starbucks. I stopped for a moment and kept arguing with myself whether or not to get it.
Screw it.
I get Starbucks when I want some Starbucks.
I inhaled the sweet smell of coffee as I entered the café. I then walked up to the counter to order. I looked up at the menu to see what I would want.
"Hello. Welcome to Starbucks." The bartender smiled at me.
I just died.
He was the most gorgeous guy I've ever met. I probably looked like a tomato right now. His blue crystal clear eyes burned right into mine. Please don't get me started on his hair.
Just don't.
"I'll umm... I'll have the pumpkin spice thi-thingy" I stuttered.
Real smooth Sam.
He gave me another one of his breathtaking smiles and I swooned.
"Sure thing gorgeous."
I literally sound like a love struck teenager but.....
I think he just called me gorgeous. No Sam, your hallucinating.
As I was conflicting with myself, I hadn't noticed that my order was finished. I looked up again to see him smirking. I again lit up like Rudolph's nose. I thanked him and paid. I was about to walk out when I got stopped by him again. I turned around and walked back over. This time I see him with a tint of red on his cheeks unlike his confident side I saw earlier.
"Could I uh- possibly- er- get your number."'
I stood there shocked with my eyes opened wide.
First day back here and a guy asks me for my number.
Sweet.
I smiled and gladly accepted. I ripped out a piece of a napkin (since it was the only paper thing I could find) and I wrote down my number. He then smiled and took it from me.
"Thanks babe," He winked at me. And of course, there goes of my red glow.
I swear one of my ancestors is a tomato.
I looked at the time on my phone seeing that if I didn't leave now, I would be late for class. I waved at- wait. I don't even know his name.
"Um, I didn't quite catch your name?" I asked him.
"It's Blake. And yours?" He asked me with those perfect blue eyes.
"Sam."
"Well, Sam I'll talk to you later then?"
I nodded and said goodbye to Blake. I walked out into the fresh almost winter breeze and walked to my "new" school. In all honesty, I'm actually quite frightened about it. Seeing all my old "friends", and ... Other, certain people. .
I entered the huge gates to the school ground. I stared in awe at how huge the school was. Ever since I was younger, I've always wanted to come here. It was three times as big as my old school. I have a new home, met a cute guy, and a huge school.
Today will be interesting...
