There was never a time I didn't try
But still all you did was make me cry
I never blamed you
I blamed myself
Cause I felt I didn't do enough
I treated you like a queen but I was always the peasant
But I see now I was a servant and you were a dreadful master
But still I gave you everything and with that you took it all away without hesitation
