It was mid December and there was little snow on the ground, yet it was freezing outside. Kat was starring out the window...just starring at the clouds, and at the soft snowflakes starting to fall lightly, when her mother called up the stairs for her to get ready. She looked at her clock, only 5:45. She hadn't slept well the night before and she was exhausted.
She walked over to her closet and flung shirt after shirt over her head to find her favorite white fitting tee with paint splattered over it. She found it way at the back. Now why would've I put it back there? She thought, quickly tossing it on and running over to her dresser, throwing pants, skirts, and shorts everywhere. She grabbed her black sweatpants from the back and pulled them on. Running down the hall to the bathroom, she opened the mirror and grabbed a hair tie. She leaned over and put her long wavy red hair up in a messy bun. She looked at her lips and decided to change her piercings into the new ones she just bought. She looked in the mirror, maybe I'll put a little foundation on, she thought grabbing her foundation and putting a light layer on and walked out of the bathroom. Pulling on socks, she scoots her feet into her uggs and runs down stairs.
"So what's for breakfast this morning mom?" Kat mumbled, going threw her bag for her phone.
"Toast and eggs, but you better eat fast." Her mom answered, putting the eggs on a plate and buttering the toast.
"Why?" Kat questioned, shoving toast into her mouth.
"Do you know what time it is?" Mom addressed.
"No?" I choked.
"It's 6:30. When's Baby supposed to be here?" Mom commented.
"Shit, uhm she should be here any minute." I sighed.
Suddenly the door bell rang, that must be her, I smiled. I scooted off my chair and walked over to the door opening it.
"Hey Kat, almost ready?" Baby beamed.
"Yeah, let my just grab my bag and we'll be on our way." I replied, kissing my mothers cheek and grabbing my bag and walking out the door.
"So, new lip rings eh?" Baby smiled, tugging at my lip.
"Oh yeah, I got them yesterday. I also got you some too." I laughed, pulling hers outta my bag.
"Oh Kat, you didn't have to. But thanks!" She squealed, hugging me and kissing my cheek.
"No, I wanted to Baby. I love you." I confessed.
"I love you too." Baby smiled, taking my hand and walking me over to her brand new purple El Camino she got for her eighteenth birthday.
Baby got in and I got in afterwards. God, Baby looked beautiful today...not like she didn't everyday. I thought, smiling. I looked at Baby and she looked back. I reached over and took her face in my hands and leaned in and kissed her. Her lips were so soft and sweet, they melted against mine. Her lips moved before mine, and she licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I opened and she slid her tongue in and explored my mouth, making my body tingle and pull her closer to me. We broke the kiss and realize we were both breathing heavily. Baby turned blushing and started the car.
"I love your kisses!" She whispered, pulling out of the driveway.
"I love your kisses too." I smiled, sitting back in my seat.
20 minutes later, we pulled into the school. I scooted outta the car first and waled over to Babys side and opened the door for her. She took my hand and we walked into the school.
"Hey! You guys! Over here!" Austin called, waving us over.
"Hey Austin... Mike." Kat laughed. Mike smiled and leaned against Austin.
