The next Day,

My school classes were over, and i had no extracurriculars scheduled, so I had a free day. I was still on the fence about the Squad jam thing. Especially about finding one more person. The cold breeze brushed against my cheeks as i walked down the sidewalk. I felt alone and no one to talk to. Just like before, back in SAO. I kept walking as I looked at the ground. Around me, i heard people excitedly getting ready to hit the bars or meet up with their school clubs, but none of that meant anything to me. I just kept moving my feet and walking.

30 minutes ago,

"I got an appointment with the soccer boys. You can go ahead without me, Aoi."

Kazune told me as he put her bag in her locker. I nodded.

"Alright, i'll just go home then. see you later, Kazu."

"Yeah, See you later."

He flashed a small smile before turning away from me and walking off into the direction of the soccer field. As i watching him running on the hallway, I sighed and shook my head. Then, I start walking towards my home.

When i almost reaching an intersection, I heard some serious conversation down the alley next to me.

".... We're just doing a lot of karaoke, and now we're out of money to go home."

a female voice said with a hint of frustration in his tone.

"We just need 10.000 yen from you. Don't worry, We'll pay it tomorrow."

i peek a little towards the alley and saw three female students that were harassing one female students. It looks like she is from the same school as them.

"We've been through this, and no. I'm not giving you anymore money."

The victim girl said in a loud voice, much to the three girls' annoyance. Firm refusal like that usually only lead to something worse like hostility or possibly harassment. The girl who was standing in the middle between two of them, a girl with black hair, looked scared, but there was determination written in her face. She didn't back down from their actions despite being threatened by both the girls gang.

"Why are you so stupid? You know we can't let this slide!"

one of the girl held up her fist and pointed it close to her glasses. The index finger extended forward while the thumb goes upward. Turn it into some sort of a symbol of a gun. However that gesture seemingly good enough to send some chills over the victims body. She look to lost her strength, her balance, her body also turn really pale.

"Listen here, Asada..."

One of the girls called out to the victim.

"My brother has a lot of an airsoft gun model at home. Maybe i'll just bought one of them to school. Aren't you a fan of those things?"

She asked with an evil grin on her face. She was clearly threatening her, trying to intimidate her. Meanwhile, The victim whom they called 'Asada' has her fingers twitch around each other. She was clearly trying to fight off the nerves. I felt bad for her. Her friends seem to be enjoying this very much. The group surrounding the young girl starts laughing loudly.

"Look, just give us some of your money and we will let you go. You look like about to pass out, after all."

She tried to reach for her bag while her victim cannot resist. At this point, all she could do was shake her head in response to their taunts. She couldn't say a word. I took my eyes of the alley. I don't know why they were doing this. Just bullying her out of the blue.
