This is a Zb1 OT9, but it is mostly focused on Ricky.
In this AU they are all College students. Yujin is 18, Jiwoong is a 99Liner, The others are the same age as they are now.

WakeOne is a notorious university, known for their strict rules and policies aswell as their academically inclined students (and on the side line crazy parties, but nobody else has to know :•) Test Rankings are decided based on the score and the time it took you to finish, so that there wouldn't be multiple first placers.
The most popular friend group there, (which is also native to the school) is known as ZeroBase they are made up of 8 individuals, all different in their own ways but fit together perfectly. They all have been friends since Yujin graduated and was accepted into the Uni and don't allow nor want anyone else to be apart of them. Not much is known about their group from those not apart of it. But they're known as the toppers, as they always place top 8 every test. despite nobody really knowing their true character everyone loves and fawns over them (even some of the professors...) because of their visual.
Ricky is a transfer student from Shanghai, China. He is wealthy yet humble and kind. He is quiet and reserved, and dresses well. His parents get a beneficial job offer in Korea, so they move to be closer and Ricky is to transfer to WakeOne. he is quickly sought after for his stunning visual. And even more so after he aces the test and ranks 4th.
