RICKY POV

I really can't believe we are moving, especially so abruptly. But maybe a change of scenery is just what I needed. New things to look at, more ideas right? Right.

I can't deny the views from up in the sky are incredible, but I can't help but be a bit anxious. What if something bad happens and we crash? Maybe I should stop thinking like this.

I figured I might aswell draw something so I pulled out my iPad and began to draw the scenery out the window.

I grew tired so I pulled out the camera app and snapped a photo so I could finish the piece sometime later, it's not my own eyes but it'll suffice.

I got a neck pillow, positioned it for maximum comfort and slowly drifted to sleep.

"Quanrui, wake up we've landed!" I opened my eyes and was met with the cheery face of my mother.

I sat up and made sure to grab all of my things before exiting the air craft.

Walking out of the airport, I was met with not too crowded streets but also not barren. It is very late at night anyways.

I turned my head and sat down where my family was. Not too long after came a car. we were driving to, most likely our new home.

About maybe 15 minutes later we were stood in front of a moderately large house.

The exterior was very sophisticated and the interior did not disappoint either.

"I can make some great still life paintings here" I thought, walking throughout the halls.

"Quanrui, Y/N come to the living room please!" My dad shouted

I quickly walked over to the designated area. And there my dad began to inform us about how life will go on.

I received the second biggest room because I'm the eldest, the age hierarchy is nice when you're at the top of it.

I got all my stuff setttled in and unpacked in some of the other rooms aswell, going to help my mom put away our silverware and dishes. It was around 1 am now, so my mom sent me to bed. Doing the same aswell.

I have to start school at the start of this week. I have 2 days to get a good wardrobe going, get everything I need for my majors, and overall get mentally prepared for an entirely different environment

It's night, so I grabbed the night clothes I had on hand and went into the connected bathroom. I don't have to leave my room for the washroom, sweet right?

After freshening up I plopped onto the now made bed my mom must've set up while I was showering. I plopped down, got comfy made sure to think happy thoughts as to have nice dreams. And succumbed to the tiredness moving in had brought upon me.
