The next few weeks brought the rebirth of Amanda Chukwujekwu. Her wings had been clipped and it took losing her friends to make that happen. She watched Drea's introduction on Instagram and felt sad because she would have gotten all the details if she hadn't been trying to be someone she was not.

It had been a week and Jason had still not replied any of her messages or returned her call. Short of showing up at his house unannounced, she didn't know what to do. She had knelt and apologized to her mother and she found some solace in being forgiven after the terrible way she had acted.

That night, she sent Drea and Flora a long text, apologizing for her attitude, hoping that they could find a place in their hearts to forgive her. They responded instantly, assuring her that she was entirely forgiven, but she wondered if it was possible for their friendship to be the way it was, after how carelessly she had spoken.

She gave Jason three weeks before she took a bold step and showed up at his door unannounced. When the door opened, he seemed shocked, but pleasantly so, before wearing an uninterested look.

"What are you doing here?" He asked, folding his arms against his chest.

"I came to apologize" Mandy replied nervously, wringing her hands as he raised a brow in question.

"I know I acted immaturely, but in truth i was going through a terrible phase. I punished you for someone else's actions and that's wrong. I am ready to do whatever it takes to make things right again." She continued.

"You hurt me badly. You know that? I tried to reach out but you ignored me completely. You should have just spoken to me and I would have given you some space if that is what you needed." He replied.

"I don't need space, Jason. I need you." Mandy replied. pulling him towards her. Jason moved reluctantly, hating that his heart raced as she ran her hand across his arm. He felt his member harden as he caught a whiff of her scent. She placed a kiss on his cheek and then pecked him on his lips. Soon, they were tearing their clothes off and ravishing each other in the same spot they had when she had last visited. At last, Chinemerem found peace. She could finally be herself, and let someone who love her, just the way she was. If there was one thing life had thought her so far, it was that, everyone's life had their own script. Trying to fit into someone else's story line was a sure way to lose your path, and many a never lucky enough to find themselves again. Except they have a prayerful mother, and good friends.
