A soldier was running with a full black armor that their head was dripping blood as they kneeled and shouted, Swords clashing can be heard. painful screaming of the people outside is so traumatizing
The black armored soldier knocks to the two black big door.
"Permission for this soldier to speak, empress!!" The soldier shouted wiping the blood that is covering their vision
Behind those doors, there is someone who is sitting behind the doors. head hanging low, the robe was messed up and hair was so messy, touching the bump in the stomach
"hmm, speak Commander Ling." The soft and rough at the same time voice inside the chamber
" E-Empress... I am s-sorry I failed the emperor.. I failed this clan- Please help me to decide what to do!" Commander Ling Shouted, Loud enough to be heard from the person behind the doors
Then, a few seconds the big door created a creaking sounds that is echoing to the hall exposing the pale and miserable yet still appears as a beauty
The empress wears a red robes with thin silk on her hands, The eyes looks like a frog that the empress seems to be crying a lot
"E-Empress..."
"Commander Ling, I'll do it." The empress spoke while the silk on her hands fell to the ground- but before it fells to the ground it disappears
"Empress Min, It is bad for baby to go on a battle You can't-" Commander Ling explained, but the empress seems not to listen at all.
"I know, I know commander Ling. I am Laboring today same as your wife. but, b-before I go into the war, please, granted my wish...no matter what... a-arrange a marriage.. Commander Ling, I am begging you to arrange a marriage between my baby and yours"
"E-Empress MIN, what are you thinking?! they are only was about to be born... b-but if it is the empress's wish... I will agree" Commander Ling agreed then the empress just smiled
"now... my child will be safe... thank yo-" The empress speak then suddenly screams, then she shut the door
The sign that she is gonna delivered the baby!!
"E-Empress! are you alright?! I will call a doctor!" commander Ling Shouted knocking the door hardly
"Commander Ling, No need. accompanying me until now is enough. now get back to the war!" The empress shouted, Then suddenly she screams out of pain
"I-I Will Called the emperor-"
"He's dead Ling.... He's dead.."The empress spoke sobbing then she screams louder than before and a minutes later, a crying of a child can be heard
"he's not dead empress min-"
"You're not believing me??? look at my only emperor here beside me...." the empress whispered
"I will call him!!"
"Ling, he's here. My emperor is here.. why don't you believe me??"
"I wanted to see him myself!!" commander ling Shouted pushing the two big doors exposing the bloody scene that he sees in his whole life
"H-How?!, I-I remember that i traveled with him... How come?!"
"Ling, i treated you like a brother... yet you didn't believe me. he made his entrance to my windows....that is why glass shards had been scattered."
"E-Emperor...The emperor still wanted to see his empress before his death comes..."
"You're right ling, my husband..... my emperor is so perfect... yet, he's still on my mind..my feelings never fades.."
"Empress, your child is a boy"
Then the pitiful empress look at the pale child crying Loudly on arms
"You're right ling.. then, can you please hold him for a second?"
"How can i say no to Empress Min?"
Then the Empress just smiled
The empress walks towards the cold corpse with a black robe laying on the bed scars on his hands and big wound on his stomach that is still bleeding
the empress rips the silk in the bed and wrap it around the wound of the emperor
"Ling" The empress called
"yes, empress?" commander ling responded as he makes the prince asleep
"Take care of my child for me. Commander Lingzhi jin"
"What do you mean Empress Jun Min?!, I can't -!"
"I will go and take my revenge from the emperor. those bandits! how dare they kill him so easily?!" the empress shouted and remove the silk that is now wrapped on the emperor's cold corpse
(To my story, bandits is the people who is not belongs to any clan and they steal to go on living.)
"Empress! you can't!, you know what will happened to this palace when the emperor and empress seats remain empty?!"
Commander Ling Just shouted then the empress that are jump through the window just left, didn't even turned back
"you're so selfish as always, little minmin..." The commander whispered, tears rolling down to his cheeks
"What a pitiful prince"....
Hours passed, A soldier shouting the name of the commander, seems like he has a message to delivered
"Commander Ling!!, Commander! where are you?!, How come the commander of the soldiers run away to the war?!" The soldier shouted
"1st trope commander Lu, I'm here." Ling spoke softly enough for the man with blood on his clothes everywhere to heard
When The commander sees the scene he just seen, he suddenly kneeled on the floor and bow his head
"Commander Ling, what happened..T-The Emperor... And- Is that the prince??... w-wait- Did I just really see the empress on the battlefield?!, why did you let the empress enter the battlefield?!" Commander Lu shouted while he stutter to say the words until he cannot speak anymore
"The empress is still young..."
"I know commander Lu, but Please call some of the health experts so we can check on the Emperor and the prince" Commander Ling asked as he smiled bitterly,
The commander who was kneeling earlier begun to turn his back around and run to the hall where all the servants and all palace people are there to avoid the war that made by the bandits from the far mountains
Withing a minutes, the commander is back with the two people behind his back
The two doctors entered the room, they already feel the unknown aura in the room and suddenly was so shocked by the scene he is seeing right now
The Emperor, Lying on the empress' chamber peacefully while a child on the commander's hands was pale and seem to be sleeping peacefully
"please check on the emperor and the prince" commander Ling spoke
the three was dumbfounded l, so the child on his arms is the prince, but where's the empress???
"where's the empress then?" one of the herbs experts ask
"the empress went to the battlefield... I can't control the decisions that is made by the empress."
"But... what will happened to this palace?!" the doctor who is checking on the emperor's body panicked
"The position will remained empty until the prince grow up." commander Ling explained
"EVERYONE!!, THE WAR IS OVER!!!" A soldier shouted holding his arms that is wounded deeply
The crying and mourning sounds fill the palace thinking finally, they are safe
Everyone is now safe
