i cant feel my face

"An unknown virus comes back to life has been spreading throughout the nation of Sumeru once more!! It is said that the people that have this virus feel unloved, neglected and-" I flicked off the television in anger while i choked back tears. I cant. I cant do it any longer. I cant keep listening to the same thing on the news every single day. It pains me to think of her, of how beautiful she was, before that virus took over her face. She grew distorted, as if she was twisted and was a failed lab experiment.

"Tighnari!" I flinched as a familiar voice yelled in my ear, "Oh Cyno! You're awake!... How come? Isn't it a bit early??" I was confused on why Cyno decided to wake up this early, his shift starts at 11am but it's currently only 5:30. He walked behind me and wrapped his soft, tanned arms around my waist and sent a group of a thousand butterflies flapping in my stomach, my tail wagged uncontrollably as he whispered in my ear with his usual sleepy morning voice, "Is it a crime to be with my husband before work?"

My face grew a scarlet red as he murmured those few words in my ear. Me and Cyno got married a year before we legally adopted Collei, a young girl in her teens that also works in the forest. "Oh Cyno..." i chuckle slightly before sighing, "Want some breakfast? I'll make you some eggs if you'd like." I turned around and flicked a white curl out his face, Cyno has natural curls since he was born and raised in the desert.

"No thanks... is Collei still asleep? I need her to help me with something." he let go of my waist and put his rough hands on my pale face, "Um yeah she is, her clocks set for 6am though, what do you need help with? Maybe i could help!"
"Oh- Um- Well- It's between me and Collei, sorry sweetheart" he planted a soft kiss on my forehead before heading to Collei's room, i assumed he was going to wake her up but this was very odd, Cyno and Collei have never kept anything from me... Is Cyno doing something that i shouldn't know about?... Something bad?...
