(duff is 18 he dropped out of school reader is 18 as well)It's late and the only thing helping me see is the dim street lamps on the road with my backpack in hand I find stares and sit on them giving my sore shoulders a rest
The steps im sitting on are next to a old rundown house or so I thought I peek into the window there's liquor bottles and beer bottle littering the floor I recoil away when I hear a chuckle and grab my school bag running away from the house and to mine I tell my mom and she laughs at me
"Maybe stop being so adventurous "
I look down at the ground maybe she's right
"I'm gonna go to bed night Love ya"
I get changed and into bed drifting off to sleep quickly and waking up with my shoulders still soar from my back pack it's a good thing that im off of school today
I think to myself and shower then get dressed and I eat breakfast my mom is at work so I decide to go to the grocery store for dinner im shopping the isle as a tall man with blonde hair scares me
"what the hell dude fuck off"
He chuckle and I realise
"do you always peek into strangers houses"
"no but your house is filthy"
I remark trying to walk away from the situation
"can I have your number?"
"1-800- get off my back"
"no please like your real number"
"fine"
I give him my real number and walk away he kinda cute
