Siren took a shaky breath in as she stared at the sept doors. Her father squeezed her arm. "If need be, you can always come to highgarden." He told her quietly.
"I don't think Rhaenyra would allow that." Siren answered with a shaky laugh. "Let alone Roman. He made me promise that I'd sleep beside him every night. In return he promised he wouldn't bed anyone else."
Her father smiled. "I doubt he would've either way. Come. It's time."
Siren nodded. "Let's go." She agreed. The doors to the sept opened and her breath was taken for a moment. Her eyes locking onto her groom. Her father led her down to her groom and she moved down so he could remove her cloak. Roman quickly threw his cloak over her and took her hand. She rose and met his eyes.
"Hello." He whispered. Their hands were bound together.
"Hello." She whispered back. There was a ringing in her ears and she kept her eyes on him as she went through the motions. Finally he stepped forward and kissed her. She kissed him back and there was a loud sound of clapping.
Roman led her back out of the sept. "You look wonderful. Princess Roman Targaryen."
"As do you, Lord Siren Tyrell." Siren answered her eyes twinkling.
"Yes yes, you are now princess Siren." Roman chuckled. "Future queen of the seven kingdoms."
"Your royal highnesses." Two ladies dropped into curtesies.
Roman nodded at them. "Hello."
Siren smiled. "It's so odd being referred to as your royal highness."
"It's your title." Roman answered. "You are the wife of the crown prince. You are the future queen of the kingdom. Someday they will be calling you your grace. As will be your proper title. You are my wife and after tonight, hopefully the mother of my child. You are as of five minutes ago in that sept the closest thing Westeros has to a queen."
Siren blinked. "I suppose I am." She answered tucking her hand into his arm. "I just forget that you're the future king sometimes because you're you. When we're alone you've not been a royal highness to me for my entire time in kings landing."
Roman chuckled. "And I never shall be again." He promised. "However you will have to get used to being one. And our children will be them for their entire lives."
"Until one of them becomes a your grace I suppose." Siren answered.
"Until then." Roman agreed tucking a piece of hair out of her face. "I do love that you left your hair down."
Siren smiled. "Rhaenyra insisted."
Rhaenyra crossed into the gardens towards them. "It's time for your wedding feast." She smiled. "I can give you two a few more moments if you'd like?"
"Yes please." Roman answered. He smiled down at his bride. "I want to kiss her alone for a moment."
Rhaenyra smiled. "I'll be right outside." She answered leaving the gardens. Roman leaned down and kissed her in a way she'd never been kissed before. She kissed him back and he pulled him closer, his grip tightening on her waist almost painfully.
He pulled away as rhaenyra coughed loudly. "Damn that bedding ceremony." He muttered. "I would love to take you here in the garden. To take you over and over until there's no doubt that you are carrying my child."
Siren smiled. "That might cause a scandal. The crown prince and his new wife having relations in the garden during their wedding feast."
Roman chuckled. "Alright, alright. Come let's get to the feast. The sooner this is over, the better."
