Numb- Chap 1

Y/n felt numb as they realized what was really going on. The world around them had been getting duller in color each day but Y/n never really took it in. The color wasn't exactly so dull for it to be realized, but everything was crystal clear when they saw their soulmate cheating on Y/n right infront of them.

They felt numb for the first few seconds the situation not fully entering in their mind, but as it entered just like that a pit in their stomach grew, it hurt and ached as it sunk deep. Their eyes started to water and fists clenched. In a matter of seconds Y/n's world felt like it went crashing down on them. They wanted to scream. They wanted to yell and fight and say something but could only stand in deafening silence, the whole world around them seeming to disappear and go quiet. Then it happened. The world around Y/n began to wash out all its colors, black, white, grey and shades between all to stay back. Y/n felt their heart shatter into millions of glass bits over and over again, a sharpening pain in the pit of their stomach growing.

Y/n dropped the flowers they had in hand for what used to be their soulmate, Adriana, now just a traitor in their eyes. Atleast.. a traitor is what Y/n wanted to call her. Y/n wanted to be mad and upset, filled with rage.. but they just couldn't bring themselves to really hate her. She was Y/n's soulmate. She was practically their whole world. Y/n sprinted and ran fast, faster than they ever had, ignoring Adrianas calls after Y/n as she notices they were there as they ran. Sobs being heard from Y/n as they darted back home. As Y/n finally got home and rushed inside all the way to their bedroom they sat.. back against the door. The doors all locked.
They can't help but feel lost. Just how long has Adriana been in a affair with another..? Was Y/n not satisfying enough? Why would she come to it? Their mind starts to race. Y/ns breathing gets faster and heavier. They just don't know what to do, Y/n wants to confront her. To tell her off and make her feel the same way they did, no Y/n wants her to feel worse. That world crushing moment. It hurt, it hurt more than anything. That night Y/n cried for hours until their tears wore them out and they fell asleep.
