"Why the hell did you agree to this!?"

"It is well within his right to request time off so he can go off to do his own personal mission!"

"But with a group of S-rank Rogue-nin after him?! It's like fishing in shark-infested waters with the biggest chunk of meat on your hook and using a stick and string!"

"That's why you are going with him."

Jiraiya slumped down onto the couch as he was growing tired of arguing with Tsunade about this. He really did not like this one bit as it was extremely risky on all ends. Naruto wanted to go to the other villages to speak or interact with the other Jinchuriki and warn them about the Akatsuki, which will not end well in many different scenarios. And here he was, being called back to the village so he could be an escort to the kid. He thought about this and looked back to Tsunade "you didn't answer my question. Why did you agree to let him do this? You should be more against this kind of thing than me! So why let him do it?"

Tsunade sat in her chair as she swirled around to look out of the village "he was very persuasive with his argument."

Jiraiya deadpanned at this as he thought about what the statement could mean. "Did he promise to pay off your debt or something?" all he got was silence, which just made him sigh "he did, didn't he?"

"Even if I didn't allow him to go, he would have just snuck out of the village on his own. This way, he at least has some form of protection."

Jiraiya facepalmed 'kid played on her weakness. Damn it.'

~Ichiraku ramen~

All of the rookies were gathered at Ichiraku's with most of them standing or leaning on the wall, with Kiba, Ino, Naruto, Hinata, and Karin sitting in the seats.

Kiba slurped up some noodles and swallowed it before looking to his right "so you leaving the village for real?"

Two seats from Kiba, Naruto brought a bowl to his lips as he drank the broth before answering "yep. I'll be leaving in a few days and I have to make sure I get everything I need before heading out."

Shikamaru was leaning on the wall as he spoke "Troublesome, so what exactly are you going to be doing when you go out on this mission of yours?"

"There is a group of rogue nin after the other Jinchuriki. I want to go and warn the other villages about the coming threat and meat up with my aunts and uncles."

Karin took a sip of her tea before looking towards Naruto "I still think it's weird that you call the other bijuu aunts and uncles. I just can't picture them as such."

"She has a point. To call the other beasts like that could come off as an insult to them."

'You told me how you were all made at the same time from the same source right?'

"Yes." he had told his kit as such though he had yet to go full into details about the whole thing.

'Well if you were all made from the same thing, then it makes them your brothers and sisters, and since I'm your kit, that makes them my aunts and uncles.'

Kurama figured that he would have to tell him the whole truth on this trip as it is either they plan to create new jinchurikis, which was extremely unlikely, or most likely, the Akatsuki are after something far more dangerous.

Naruto looked to Karin as he smiled "well it's sort of true with what I am."

Neji was standing with a bowl in his hands "I see how you can perceive it as such but it is an odd family, to say the least."

Haku nodded as he and Sakura stood next to Neji with their own bowls "family comes in many different forms. To accept them so readily even if you have not yet met them is commendable."
