"Picture this...A weekend trip to Las Vegas. Friends, drinking and gambling." Dan said, making dramatic hand motions.
"Nope." I quickly said, looking down at my phone.
"All expenses paid?" He said, almost sounding like a question.
I looked up at him for a moment, pondering on what I wanted to do.
"Fine, but i'll have to talk to Ann."
"Awesome! We all are leaving on Friday." He said proud of himself that he convinced me.
"Who all is coming?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
"John, Hudson, Cam and Aaron." He said, looking up, going through the list in his head.
"Aaron is actually coming?" I said sounding honestly surprised.
"Yup, he's gonna meet us in Nevada."

All six of us have been good friends since middle school. When we got older, Aaron ended up moving to Arkansas.

"Guess we're finally getting the group back together." He said with a chuckle.
"Oh god." I said, pondering the possibilities.
Just as I began to wonder about what the hell would happen when we were all together again, Bonnie, Dans fiance walked into the living room.
"Hey babe-" Dan began to say before getting a hand shoved in his face.
"Grayson, put on A World Of Survival." She said as she plopped next to me on the couch.
"Oh, yeah" I said, picking up the remote.
A few moments into the episode, Bonnie and I were zoned in.
"Yall have a problem with this series." Dan huffed.
"You're just mad she's more interested in a show then you." I said still looking at the TV.
"A little bit, yeah." He said before sitting on the back of the couch, becoming zoned in himself.

I found myself in my car driving home. I glanced at the time to see it was 7:36, a bit later than I had originally intended.
I pulled into my driveway, taking the key out of the ignition. I walked over to the door and began to fiddle with the keys, trying to get it unlocked.
I walked into my living room, plopping myself onto the couch.
"A hello would be nice." I heard an irritated voice say.
"Hello?" I responded, sitting up.
She rolled her eyes before beginning to walk away.
"Ann." I said quickly, causing her to turn towards me.
"I gotta talk to you." I said, motioning for her to come sit by me.
She plopped next to me, glaring at me, clearly irritated.
"Danny is having his bachelor party this weekend, we are going to be in Las Vegas. Just wanted to give you a heads up." I said, trying to keep it brief.
"No." She said with a chuckle.
"What?" I asked, her response catching me off guard.
"My friend is having a baby shower this weekend."
"What does this have to do with me?" I said, still not being able to decipher what was happening.
"I don't want to be alone, I would like to be accompanied."
I sat there in utter disbelief, trying to figure how to respond.
"This is my bestfriends bachelor party, I don't even know your friend." I said in a calm tone.
"So?! You should still need to join me." She snapped.
"I'm sorry but I'm going to this bachelor party, we already discussed this and you never had a problem before. All expenses will be paid if that's what you're worried about."
"I don't give a shit!" She said, standing up.
"If you're going, don't expect to see me when you get back!" She said before walking away.
I grasped at the bridge of my nose, sighing.
Our relationship has already been crumbling. It has been filled with situations like this, her trying to be in control in unnecessary situations.
I've tried my best to try and make mends with her, but maybe it's time to finally let her go.
