I desired more from him than just friendship, but it was clear that he wasn't prepared to take things seriously.

Steve started to yell “Is that what you want you want? You want me to take responsibility?,” he continued. “That’s not a problem. Be my girlfriend if that’s what you want” he sounded so rude, but in my ears, it was sweet.
“Really?” I asked him admits my tears.
Instead of responding, he gestured “Go in”.
I obeyed him quickly and went inside, leaving him outside the gate.
I danced with joy when I got to my room; I finally had a boyfriend.
We started dating and everything was going well.
He gave his time, money, love, and affection. It was a lovely time for me when he would stop by where I was working and just stare at me until I finished.
Although there were times when he would scold me and treat me like a dog that he owned, but I didn't care about that and would rather apologize out of fear of losing the one person I had.
Sometimes he would suddenly kiss me, and if I didn't reciprocate the way he wanted, he would get mad and push me away, telling me that he had given me all I needed and that I still couldn't satisfy him.

We frequently got into argument when it came to our sexual life because I was inexperienced and he was skilled in such matters.  All of that was ignored by me because he never asked for sex, which was a wonderful thing.

Right?
