"After the events that occurred in episode 5 with Lill and Ashley's departure, the purple team heads back into their tent to sleep for the night. Meanwhile, on the teal team, after everyone went to sleep, Gabby decided to visit Ellie on the other team by sneaking out of her tent, carrying the fishing pole and bucket from her team.
When she got to the purple team's tent, she saw Ellie sleeping and carefully tried waking her up.
"Ellie? she whispers to her, "are you awake?" She then slowly opens her eyes and notices Gabby next to her, wondering why she's not asleep yet.
"Gabby? What are you doing up this late at night? And why aren't your with your team?" she says in confusion. "I wanted to come and see you again." Gabby responds.
"That's nice and all but can't we do this in the morning though? Because again, it's late, I need to get some sleep.
"You should also hurry back to your tent and get some sleep too or otherwise Gretts gonna have you head on a platter." says Ellie.
"Ok you're right... Sorry to bother you..." Gabby said looking kind of sad.
"Don't worry about it. We can talk more in the morning, okay?" said Ellie.
"Ok, thanks. Goodnight bestie." Gabby says before blowing a gentle kiss and heading back to her team's tent to sleep.——————————————————————
"The next day, when everyone got out of their tents, preparing for the next challenge, Gabby glanced at Grett for a second to make sure that she wouldn't get caught sneaking out of her team with the fishing pole and bucket from last night to go see Ellie again.
The eccentric girl then spotted her alone near the woods and went to say hi and chat.
"Oh, hey Gabby, " the lonely girl said, happy to see her. "What's up?"
"Well, I was just wondering if you still wanted to catch some fish with me and talk about some things?" said Gabby.
"Well, we still have some time before the next challenge starts, so sure.
"Yaaay! the tree hugger girl yelled excitedly before taking her hand. "Follow me!" she said."——————————————————————
"Once they got to the lake, they each took turns catching some fish together and chatted some more to get to know each other.
"How've you been holding up lately?" Ellie asked Gabby.
"Fine...I'm just still bothered by the way Grett has been treating me lately... the treehugger girl tells her.
"Our team even got to call our loved ones from home as our reward for winning the challenge. When Grett called her mom, I couldn't help but notice the lack of support in her home environment, which kind of hit home for me..."
"Oh? May I ask why?" Ellie asks her, looking a little concerned.
"Well... Ever since my dad divorced my mom when I was 4, he hasn't paid attention to me much, usually putting his job as lawyer over me, although he is aware of my passion for animals, hence why I have so many back at home. I've always had one for nature as well. I mean, can you imagine how bland this world would be without it? Yet he always judged me for that and had me sent to a mental hospital when I got older because apparently, I was driving him "insane" with my fixation of animals. It's taken me to a very dark place in my life since then...and lately, I've been hearing this strange voice in my head who constantly belittles me and tells me do stuff I know is not right, like that time when I threatened Nick about not caring about his life if he didn't care for animals... I really shouldn't have overreacted like that, but it's as if I don't know how to control myself...and that scares me... she starts tearing up I- I just wish I didn't have to go through all this ...."
Ellie, feeling crushed by what she just heard, starts hugging Gabby tightly as she cries into her shoulder.
"Gabby... I'm...so sorry to hear that... I never realized you've been through this much... I knew from your behavior that something was up, but even so, I won't ever judge you for it. I promise. I'll always be by your side no matter what." Ellie says, smiling while wiping away her tears.
"Thanks..." Gabby says softly. As I mentioned about Grett before, when I overheard her mom favoring her brother Gary over her, it reminded me of how my dad doesn't pay much attention to me back at home, like I said before, but when I tried comforting her, she just pushed me away... Why is she always so mean to me?"
"Well Gabby, it seems from the lack of support in her home environment may be the reason why she's like that...but even so, it's still not cool." Ellie responds.
"Yeah... Do you think it's possible that she's looking for attention?" Gabby asks her, a little curious.
"Possibly" she responds, "but don't let that distract you from the game. She is your ally after all, right?"
"I know. That's the only reason why I have her around. Like I've mentioned yesterday, it's the only way to save myself. As difficult as dealing with her can be, I don't really have much of a choice unfortunately..." Gabby says in disappointment.
"Yeah that's understandable... We all gotta win this whole thing somehow" Ellie says.
"That may or may not also be the reason why I'm also working with Fiore..." she tells her feeling a little guilty.
"You mean that little girl who insulted those two girls who got voted out?" Gabby asks, looking suspicious.
"Yeah...Lill and Ashley... Lill was a strong competitor, and it was only a matter of time before she could've made it far and won this entire thing.
Same with Ashley, which was also why I told you to vote for her as well, and because Alec convinced me to keep her in the game.
I'm going to assume it's possibly because those two have a tight bond.
Least that's what it seemed over the past week."
"I see...and I guess you're also keeping her around to save yourself as well?" Gabby asks Ellie.
"Exactly, even though I'm in a safer position than I was before, having her and Alec as my allies are still pretty much the reason why I'm still here, even if I still haven't received any votes so far." she responds.
"Fair enough, I suppose," says Gabby. Hey by the way, maybe I don't dare to ask this but, if you won the million, what would you do with it?" she asks her.
"Alec asked me the exact same question...and to answer that, well, to simply put, it would change my life... I'm wanting to study fashion design, I just never could since I've been juggling two different jobs that have barely kept me alive... The fact that I'm still even here is a blessing and winning the money would mean a lot...
"I see... Sorry that you have to go through all that by the way... I'm going to do whatever it takes to make sure that one of us wins this thing.
If I win, I could split the prize money with you and if you do, you could do the same.
How's that sound?" Gabby asks Ellie, hoping she accepts the offer.
"I guess we could make that work. Sure!" she replies while smiling at her.
"Yay! Thanks bestie!" she shouts excitedly while hugging her again.
"Well since I've shared to you what I wanted to do with the million, mind doing the same?" Ellie asks her curiously.
"Well, it's simple, really... I want to use it to save the environment of course, and possibly open up my very own animal shelter too.
Gabby answers, "it's my dream actually to do so. I'd also use it to move into a new home as well, like a cottage near a forest or just anywhere surrounded by nature. Guess one could dream though..."
"Wow, you seem to have such a big heart. I really admire that about you." Ellie responds to her blushing a little.
"Aaaaaw thank you so much girlie!" Gabby's squeals in happiness while hugging her tightly (being a little too enthusiastic about the hug, not not noticing she's squeezing her body a little too tight).
"Can't... breathe... Ellie grunts." "Oh gosh! I'm so sorry!" Gabby responds, letting her go. "I... guess I got a little carried away there hehe..."
"Hehe, no problem." Ellie reassures her while smiling and blushing again.——————————————————————
"After the deep, yet wholesome conversation the girls had, the two teams head to Derek and Trevor to prepare for the challenge.
And I'm gonna just fast forward through this part cause I'm too lazy to write it plus it's not too important to this story anyway so yeah :p
After the challenge was over and the two teams finished deliberating on who to vote out, they met Derek and Trevor at the bonfire ceremony to cast their votes. The teal team was up first. Since Tom got in an argument with Jake during the challenger after finding out he was a spy, they voted for each other. The rest of the votes came down to Dan and Grett. However, from a vote of 1 to 3, Grett ended up being voted out. "WHAT?! GABBY!" she yelled at her furiously. "Sorry. We won't tolerate you any longer." Gabby said to her while glancing over at Ellie smiling. "Go away!" yelled Miriam smirking. "Whatever!" Grett shouted. "Do you think I care? Because I don't!" she then retorted storming out. "Teal Team, you can head back to camp," Derek said. Before Gabby went back with her team, she wished Ellie good luck while giving her a sweet peck in the cheek." She thanked her while blushing as Gabby left the bonfire ceremony.
I'm gonna stop it right there since the next story will take place during episode 7, so stay tuned for that. Thanks for reading! ^w^

FanfictionThis story will be namely based off on how I would personally write these two as a pairing from episode 6 forward. I'm still curious to find out how Odd Nations will continue with their relationship however.👀 Hell, they might even write them better...
