Dexter began school I was not allowed since I was not a 'normal kid' I didn't know there was a such thing as a real school, I thought everyone taught their kids at home.
Today, mother taught me about gender and apparently even my gender is not normal mother said that I was born both a boy and a girl, so I pee like a boy, but I can have babies like a girl this confused me...she told me that one day I would have t choose "mother would if I want to stay the way I am" I asked mother gave me a warm smile "that's okay too honey, but that decision comes with consequences you know you will have to get married some day" my face frowned up, to think being with someone for the rest of your life? "That's yucky mom" I stuck my tongue out making my mom giggle "so Ms. Man" she joked "what do you want to be today, You know we have an important event to attend" she held up a dress and a dress shirt my tail wagged in excitement this will be my first time leaving the house i held my finger out pointing to the dress i wanted to look pretty for my first time out in the open.
Mother sat me down and began to help me get dressed and do my hair she combed my messy black hair and put a hat on my head to cover my ears and horns and pinned my tail down with a belt "i wish i didn't have to hide" i looked down "i wish too honey but right now the world isent ready for you yet trust me nobody's ready for Nathan" she kissed my cheeks playfully making me giggle, but that came to a quick stop soon as papa leaned in the doorway "i will tell you this once and only once" he got down to my level piercing my eyes with his "No flying No laughing and don't speak unless spoken to, you will not embarrass this clan and if you do, you will dishonor this family, and you will never see outside again..got it?" my fist clenched the hem of my dress as i tried not to look him in the eyes "yes sir" i mudder as he began to walk tawords the door "the cars outside" was the last thing he said before heading out.
Going through that front door and seeing the street the sidewalk things ive only seen on TV it was amazing who knew there was such a big world beyond my backyard on top of that i rode in a car!
