The morning sun cast a warm glow on the streets as Neo was unlocking the doors of his beloved pastry shop. He couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for another amazing day of serving his delectable creations to the world.

As Neo turned around to stretch his arms, he couldn't help but roll his eyes when he saw Charles, his rival, wiping the window of the donut shop across the street.

Their eyes met, and for a moment, their competitive spirits flared up once again. They exchanged glares and rolled their eyes, a silent acknowledgment of their ongoing rivalry.

Neo: Ugh, Charles always has to be right in front of me, trying to steal my spotlight.

He shook his head, trying to brush off the irritation. But just as he was about to start his morning routine, Charles couldn't resist adding a snarky comment.

Charles: Looks like someone's still bitter about losing the bake-off, huh?

Neo shot a sharp glance at Charles, his frustration evident in his voice.

Neo: Oh, please. You got lucky that day. But mark my words, Charles, I'll show you what true dessert perfection looks like.

Neo took a deep breath, reminding himself to focus on his own shop and the joy he found in creating delicious treats.

With determination in his eyes, he turned away from the door and began preparing for the day ahead, ready to share his passion with the world, one pastry at a time.

As he stepped inside, the thought of the aroma of freshly baked pastries enveloped him, filling the air with a comforting sweetness.

....

After sometime Rei, Neo's University friend entered Neo's pastry shop, noticing his irritated expression she asked,

Rei: Hey, Neo! How's your day going? You look pissed off.

Neo sighed and leaned against the counter, frustration evident in his voice.

Neo: I can't stand seeing that bakery owner in the donut shop across from me. It just gets under my skin.

Rei raised an eyebrow, remembering the baking competition from last week.

Rei: Are you still mad about the results of the baking competition? You know, sometimes it's best to let go and focus on your own amazing pastries.

Neo rolled his eyes as Rei leaned against the counter, her gaze shifted towards Charles outside the window.

Rei: Come on, Neo. Look at him. He's quite handsome, isn't he?"l

Neo's eyes widened in disbelief, his voice filled with disdain.

Neo: Handsome? I don't see any handsomeness on his face. He's as ugly as his donuts.

Rei chuckled softly, trying to ease the tension.

Rei: Oh, come on, Neo. I've tried his donuts before. They taste amazing, with just the right amount of sweetness. You shouldn't take him as your competition.

Suddenly, Neo's shock turned into anger, and he couldn't contain himself.

Neo: YOU TASTED WHAT? YOU TASTED CHARLES' DONUTS? YOU BETRAYER! HOW CAN YOU CALL YOURSELF MY BEST FRIEND WHEN I OWN A DESSERT SHOP RIGHT HERE?

The door swung open as Neo shouted, drawing the attention of a few customers. Neo quickly realized his outburst and took a deep breath, trying to compose himself.

Neo: I'm sorry, Rei. I didn't mean to shout. It's just... this rivalry really gets to me sometimes.

Rei placed a comforting hand on Neo's shoulder, offering a reassuring smile.

Rei: It's okay, Neo. I understand. But remember, you have your own unique style and flavors that make your pastries special. Don't let this rivalry consume you.

Neo nodded, grateful for Rei's support. He took a moment to collect himself before returning to his work, determined to let his pastries speak for themselves.

Neo: But I'll still show that moron his place! He is flying too high in the sky these days.
