After a long day of fishing with his younger brother, Andrew. Simon headed back to his home, exhausted and hungry.

Simon walked through the door and closed it behind him. He glances over to the short legged table near the front door, seeing it had all the floor pillows where looking clean, along with to candles lit for light on the table, and some wooden plates.

Simon looks in the kitchen to see his wife, Eden, preparing part of the dinner, he places a basket of a few fish he had kept for dinner, placing the basket on the counter.

He then went over to her, giving her a sweet kiss on the cheek, "I'll prepare the fish." He says and goes to the small fire pit in the kitchen to start it up, then starts scaling the fish to cook them.

Eden smiles at him, "Thank you, my love. You're amazing."

"No, You're amazing, dear." Simon chuckles as he winks at her as he continues cooking the fish.

Their conversations about their days continue as they made dinner together.

—— After Cooking, At the table

They were both eating dinner now. Simon practically inhaling most of his food, pulling nets up full of fish seems to always make him exhausted.

"So..." Eden starts.

Simon stopped eating, swallowing his last bite, looking up at his love. "Hm?" He replies, his full attention on his wife.

"I have a surprise for you." She smiles.

"Oh? What is it, honey?"

"We're having a child." Eden smiles.

"Wait- Are you serious??" Simon seems to stammer in disbelief.

"Yes, Love, and it's yours!" Eden smiles and went over to him.

Simon pulled her into a hug, "I-I cannot believe this!! We're going to have a kid!"

They have a romantic kiss in celebration and tuned in for the night.

—— 7 months later, In the middle of the night

Eden had woken up, feeling paranoid and extremely anxious. She shook Simon awake.

"Uhh...What...? Eden...uugh..." Simon yawns, "Love, Whatever is the matter?"

"...Something is wrong... Something doesn't feel right..." She says, her voice small.

Simon quickly sat up alert, "Are you okay?? Is it the baby?"

"I'm fine... But I'm worried about our child...I had a dream where something happened to it...But it was so... vague. Simon, I'm scared."

Simon holds Eden in his arms, rubbing her back in a soothing way. I'm sure they'll be okay, it'll be a healthy baby, for sure, don't worry." He says with a small amount of worry in his own voice but tried to hide it.

They then fell back asleep again later on.

—— 2 months later

"It's a girl!" The doctor said as he held the tiny newborn in his hands and started to clean her in a wooden bowl filled with clean water.

Eden inhaled and sighed with relief, laying her head back down, resting after the excruciating pain that she had just went through, her mother and her husband, Simon were both by her sides near the wooden table she was laid across on.

Simon was still holding her hand, and gave her hand a kiss, holding it tightly after with both hands, "Good job, My love. You hear? A crying baby is a healthy one."

Eden smiled as tears from her joy and relief fell from her eyes as her mother spoke up, "I'm so proud of you, Eden. You did so well."

The baby continued to cry in the background as it was cleaned by the doctor and wrapped up in a blanket and brought over to Eden. "Here she is. What's her name gonna be?"

"Hmm... I'm not sure yet." Eden looked down at the newborn in her arms, "We didn't pick out a name yet. We wanted to wait until she came."

"Ah, I see... Well don't worry, that takes a while, you have time." The doctor replied.

"She looks so beautiful..." Simon says, "Such a beautiful lion..."

"Wait— Hmm... Beautiful lion...." Eden chuckles, "She does look like a beautiful little lion cub, doesn't she?"

"Yeah..." Simon says.

Eden smiles, "I used to have an old friend with a name that would absolutely be perfect for her."

"Oh?"

"Arobela. What do you think?"

"Arobela is a beautiful name for this sweet girl!" Eden's mother replied.

"Thank you, Mama."

"I agree, that's perfect." Simon replied also.

—— A few months later

They have both noticed that Arobela wouldn't cry if she was hungry or needed a cleaning, but sometimes she would. They thought it was strange but thought nothing of it and continued to care for her, the best they could.

—— 2 years later

Arobela was delayed in her walking, she was still at the beginning of learning even though they kept trying to teach her. She was delayed and that's what made them start to worry.

But she she finally started walking at 3 years old.  They made sure they showed her how proud they were by giving her so much love. But there was one last problem;

She was also delayed in her speech.

She was non-verbal, they both kept trying to teach her simple words, but Arobela still didn't speak. Simon and Eden began to start worrying again.

—— A year later

Arobela is now four years old, she could walk and play, but she still doesn't talk. Simon and Eden didn't give up on her, but instead tried to be patient and let her learn and pick up words at her own pace, even though it was frustrating and it made them argue about what was best for Arobela, but they came to both agree on letting her learn at her own pace.
