Chapter IV

The wedding goes on without any trouble until the exchange of vows of the couple... Since Jimin had enough of the people cheering around him, he wanted to end things once and for all... Jungkook is the first one to say his vow to his beloved lover when someone from behind fired a gun at a point blank range, killing the latter instantly due to his wound on the nape.

Most of the guests that were invited to witness for the wedding run for their own lives, as Jimin rampantly fires his gun that kills more people than what he intended to be... The beautiful white marbled floor of the hall became a massacre scene that even Jungkook himself can't imagine... How can Jimin do this to all the innocent people he killed without feeling remorseful for his actions?
"Jimin..." He choked on his words.

The cold gaze and blank expression plastered on Jimin's face made Jungkook shiver in fear, as the latter finally was able to face him after everything that he had done... "Jungkook-ah~ My Jungkook-ah... The world turned red the moment you chose Taehyung over me..." He smiled fakely, his entire clothes were bathed with blood. "You chose the one person who knew my feelings for you, yet chose to betray my trust and go after you... How pathetic it can be?"

Jimin wiped his blood-covered hands on his cheeks, as he walked closer to Jungkook. "Do you know what Taehyung told me when I begged not to accept your confession? Do you know how much he mocked me for clinging to someone who clearly doesn't want me? Did you even notice the way he looked me in the eye the moment he said yes to you? No? Of course you wouldn't, of course you don't... Cause you only cared about him and not me..."

Jungkook is crying silently while holding his supposed husband's hand while looking at Jimin who clearly loses his right mind... So in the end, he is the reason why everyone is unhappy. He even pushed Jimin to his limit by making him their best man at the wedding...

"Jimin-ah please... Don't do this... You're a good person and you deserve so much more..." Jungkook plead. "Stop hurting innocent people and just kill me instead..."

Even in death, Jungkook still chose to be with Taehyung and not him, something that his heart can't take...
So instead of pointing the gun at his beloved man, Jimin pointed it at his head with the intent of finally ending his own life... What a tragic finale to someone who only wanted to be loved.

"Even if the world would end today, you still choose to be with Tae and not me... Everything is so fucked up, considering that you love Taehyung so bad that you didn't see the person who loves you the same way..." Jimin smiled weakly while letting his tears fall down his blood stained cheeks. "I hope that in our next life, you will learn to love me back... I love you so much Jeon Jungkook... I will wait for you in every single lifetime that I'm gonna have..." With the last bullet in his gun, Jimin shot himself in his head, killing him on the spot.

The way Jimin held the bouquet of tuberose even after his death symbolizes the obsessive love that he had for Jungkook... The white petals of the said flower were now painted with Jimin's blood, making it more beautiful but painful to look at at the same time... Jungkook is sitting in front of the altar, traumatized with everything he saw today...

Hopefully one day, he will be able to move on... But for now, the silent scream of help in his head partnered with the loud sound of his tears echoing in his ears are the only thing that Jungkook can convey... He will definitely carry the burden of the death of the people he loves forever...
