Start of a new holiday

Finally It's the start of summer break. It's been 11 years since we last went travelling. Mum and dad have been thinking of trying to travel again, but I know that will never happen.

Kim: Tenko!

I turned around to see it was my sister. I looked at her like I was dozing off.

Tenko: yes sis?

Kim looked at me, I have a feeling that I will know what she will say.

Kim: Do you think we will go travelling this summer?

Tenko: I'm not sure, I hope so. I've been really wanting to go travelling this year.

Being cooped up in the same house I've lived in for 16 years gets boring, I loved it when it was just Jayden, Kim, and our parents along with our aunt. Ever since Jaimie and Bria came along it was all different.

No traveling, no holidays, it was all because they were young.

I hear the sounds of a car pulling up, I looked at Kim as mum pulled up at the school, all though I'm Happy that summer break has started. It's just going to be like last year, no travels.

Alyssa: Where's Jayden?

Jayden:Sorry mum!

Our mum told us that our father was picking up Bria since Jaimie doesn't normally go to the last day of school.

We arrive home to see Jaimie, Bria and our dad waiting for us.

Dallas:How was school, you three!

Tenko: it was-

I looked at Jayden and Kim as they cut me off, telling our dad that their day was great.

Jayden:It was awesome you should have seen me. I won a dodgeball game and they had a full team while I was on my own!

Kim:It was great to find out I got the highest score in the test.

I stared at my siblings as mum and dad congratulated them. When I turned around I saw Bria standing behind me. She gave me a hug and asked me if I was okay and how my day was.

To be honest I'm glad to see that she cares about me. I gave her a smile and said I was fine and that my day was great.

As we were sitting around the table mum and dad said that we needed to have a talk tomorrow morning.

I asked mum what we were going to do this summer. She just looked at me and continued to eat, ignoring my question.

The same happened when I asked dad he just kept eating.

After we all finished eating I watched as my siblings went up to their rooms. It was 8:30 pm at night. I stayed in the kitchen cleaning after dinner. As I was finished I went up to my room and layed on the bed thinking why, why were they ignoring me. It was now 10:00 pm and I decided that I wanted to know what they wanted to talk to me about so I just went to bed.

every night was the same they would go up and i would wash up everything on the odd occasion they would help me clean and put things away. i was glad about that but for the past few days they left it to me like they were hiding something. we would normally talk when we were cleaning maybe they didnt want to talk tonight and thats why they all just went up to their rooms till 10:30.
