The unexpected trip

As the sun came up I could hear talking down stairs. It was late in the morning, i thought to myself, i never wake up this late was i that sleepy last night.

As I walked down stairs I saw my siblings sitting in the living room with our parents. They tell me to hurry up and sit down. I was confused why.

Kim: Finally you are up!

Tenko: What do you mean by that?

kim:just...

Tenko: You know what never mind, forget I asked

As I sat down we heard a knock on the door. Now I was not the only one who was confused here, my siblings didn't even know who it was by the door.

We watch as mum goes and opens the door only to find out that it was aunt Alysha.

She looks at us like it's been 11 years since she has seen us which is sorta true we had only seen her once each year for 11 years.

After we greeted aunt Alysha, we all sat down and that's what hit me.

I thought to myself how could I be This stupid. I yelled out are we really going to travel this year!

Mum and dad looked at me shocked like they didn't know that I found out about what we're doing this summer.

I was so happy but when I looked at my siblings they didn't react to what I yelled out. I just stared and questioned why, jaimie looked at me and told me that the rest of us knew that we were going on a trip.

I asked mum where we were going for our travelling trip. She replied saying something I never thought she would say.

Alyssa: We're going camping. How exciting is that!

Dallas: It would be a great way for us to bond, no tv's, no phones and I better not hear anyone of you fighting

alysha:I have already bought the tents we are going to sleep in, and dont think i'm that mean they also have a built-in mattress so you will all be fine.

As everyone was so excited for this trip I was worried something would happen but other than that i was excited as well. I turned to mum and asked when we were leaving. She told me that we were leaving tomorrow morning. I yelled to her tomorrow morning!

After that she just left to go pack, I said to myself I should also go pack after what she said about us leaving tomorrow I freaked out. I said my goodbyes to my aunt so she could go home and pack as well and once she left I went and started to pack for tomorrow.

While I was packing Jayden came into my room saying that we will be away for the whole of summer like we used to be gone for. I was fine with that. I mean I did miss going out during summer break.

That night we went out for dinner after getting some groceries for our camping trip. We went to a nice restaurant where Aunt Alysha paid for us. While we were eating I was thinking of things to do when we got there. Jaimie saw i was dozing off so she just started to call my name. After the 5th time of her calling my name I realised I was dozing off. I excused myself and went to sit outside in the garden.

5 minutes later after being outside dad came out to check up on me. He asked if I was ok and I told him that I was worried about us going camping. He told me we would be alright and that aunt was bringing the minivan just in case one of us didn't feel safe sleeping in the tent. I was relieved to hear that. We went back inside and finished eating, we paid the bill and left a tip, after that we went home and packed the car so we could just leave in the morning and that we didn't need to wait for anyone because they forgot to grab something.

We had all went to bed early that night, aunt have arrived early at our house the next day to come and take some of us kids with her since most of the car was full of everyone's stuff. Jaimie and bria agreed to stay with mum and dad, Kim, jayden and I didn't mind going with aunt Alysha.

On the trip down to the camp site, aunt Alysha was blasting the weekend out full blast the cars outside could hear the music playing, we didnt care aunt alysha was the best when it comes to road trips.

all though when we swear yeah that dosen't end well, kim swore after a song came on and we pulled up to watch as aunt taped kim on top of the roof.

As we were pulling up to the camp i was worried now for sure, kim and jayden looked at me like they knew something was up. Aunt alysha asked me what was wrong and was there anything she could help with. i replied with a no and that i was fine.
