*a day later* "hey wait up we're coming with" Jeff says "that's great I could sure use your help" "lets go come on" Paige says *they get into the car and drive to animal hospital* "alright you two grab a box and go in *they grab boxes and go in* "this isn't to bad" *Jeff and Paige look at him* "its pretty bad" "dad how long ago did this guy retire" Paige says "a few years" Chase replies "a few years well he left it in a state" Jeff says "what's down there" Jeff says "I think the kennels are down there Jeff" Chase replies *Jeff and Paige go down there* "woah it stinks down here" Paige says "sis" "what's wrong" "somethings moving over there" *she looks over and sees a box moving, Jeff walks over to it and a cat jumps out scaring them* "AHH" *their dad runs in* " what's wrong you two, are you both okay" "yeah dad we're fine Jeff just got spooked by a bunch of furballs" *he looks at the box and spots kittens* "great so now I've opened up an orphanage too" "well if its okay with you we'd like to take one to share" Jeff says "alright I'll tell you what, you both clean up these old kennels and she's yours" "alright" "thanks dad" "come on kittens" Paige says *she moves them out the way and they begin cleaning out the kennels* "no Zowie, Zowie come back" "Drew you need to get a handle on that dog" "sorry he gets a little hyper sometimes" Drew says "Its alright" "thought it was lunch, how are you chase" "good thanks" "you met my boy" "no" "Drew where are your manners" *he shakes his hand and Jeff and Paige walk in* "he's a cool looking dog" Jeff says "what's his name" Paige says "Zowie" "what happened Zowie" "damn dog stuck his nose in my rabbits and they ganged up him I swear that dog is dumber than lobster bait" "is he going to be okay" "I'm not really set up yet but I'll take a quick look, come on Zowie up on the table" *he gets Zowie up on the table* "alright he's got facial lacerations but they'll heal up pretty quickly" "I'll give you some antibiotics ointment" "thank you" "hey Jeff and Paige, you know your mother and I used to be sweethearts" *they look at him and roll their eyes* "did you really" Jeff says "yeah prom homecoming a whole nine yards, course that was a life time ago" * a day later* "how is this fair, Paige's year go back tomorrow but I go back today" "its just the times Jeff" "unbelievable" *Paige laughs* "see you later sis" "see you later Jeff" *Chase looks at them confused* "hang on a minuet" Chase says "what" "Paige you usually call him dingus what's going on between you two" "nothing dad Jeff just needs his older sister so I'm following mum's advice" Paige replies "which was" "to always be there for him" *Jeff smiles at her and she smiles back* "alright lets get going" *they leave*
