Mom, Dad and I stared at the letter and didn't opened it,

The three of us were very nervous, especially me. I have applied to one of most prestigious private highschools and the test for the scholarship was very hard,

I studied most of the time and my goal was to get in,

"Come on sweetie, open it"

Mom mumbled and I took a deep breath before opening the letter,

"... Congratulations Shin Y/n, you got accepted to the Kim-YAS!"

I celebrated loudly and hugged my parents, they cheer along with me and mom had tears of joy in the corner of her eyes,

I kissed both of their cheeks and thanked them for giving birth to me.

Finally!! Dream come true! I've always wanted to attend that academy

Bye-Bye, old school!

I'm Shin Y/n. I'm a junior but in a few months I'll become a senior

I can't wait to attend that academy. Students there must be rich, elegant and most of all gorgeous.

My smile won't go away so I called my best friend.... well she's a crush but that doesn't matter.

"Hey girl! What's up?"

Somi asked and I blushed on hearing her voice.

"I got in!"

I shouted happily and heard laughs from other side of the phone

"Congratulations Y/n! Wait for me outside, I'll come pick you up, let's celebrate!"

I hung up on the phone and smiled shyly. I quickly ran upstairs to make myself presentable and also to apply light makeup.

"Somi!"

I launched at her and God, she's strong so she held on my waist and hugged me back while laughing

"Congratulations again, what do you want?"

Somi asked and I grinned mischievously

"Food, I want food. I'm starving!"

I groaned and Somi laughed at me, then the both of us sat in her car and Somi just had to put seatbelt on me

Our faces were so close and yet I can't kiss her since she's not into relationships

I cleared my throat and Somi stared at me cluelessly, she just laughed and started the engine then we left

When we reached there, Somi bought me a lot of foods and I'm glad that she belongs to a rich family

She bought me a lot of stuff for my school

"Somi this is too much"

I said as I stared at the things she bought me and she laughed.

"It's nothing. You are my best friend and I want the best for you, so don't complain and accept it!"

Then Somi handed me a box. As I opened it, I saw a beautiful necklace

"Oh it's pretty" I mumbled and smiled softly at her.

"I'll put it on you?"

She asked and I nodded. Somi then held the necklace and put it on me, when she finished I turned back and smiled at her

"Thank you-"

I was shocked because our faces were too close, I gulped nervously. Somi stared at me then cupped both of my cheeks

"I'm gonna miss you"

She mumbled and pressed her lips on mine, making me shocked. It was mere five seconds when she pulled away but I felt butterflies in my stomach

"W-Why you did that?" I asked her and she smiled sadly.

"I'm gonna study overseas.... this is me saying goodbye to you for the last time"
