Damon and I were in Stefan's bedroom. "You brought back John Gilbert? That was your big 'Save Elena' move?" Damon asked Stefan and I nodded in agreement. "I went to go look for Isobel, and I get John instead. He said he can help us, and we're desperate." I shook my head at Stefan's innocence. "We're not that desperate, Stefan. The guy tried to barbecue Damon!" Stefan looked at me and then at Damon.
"Damon, Mom, Bonnie's new witch friend is working with Elijah, so we have to assume that the moonstone was never destroyed . Elena is putting all of her faith into some deal that she made with Elijah to keep everyone safe. I mean, do you trust Elijah? I don't trust him. He's an Original, he can't be trusted. It's not like we can just go up and kill him, because apparently, he can't die just like Mom! I smack Stefan on his hand. "Hey, why mention my immortality, anyone around us can hear you." he smiles sheepishly.
"I'm still waiting for the part where John Gilbert is the answer." Damon asked impatiently, to be honest even am waiting for that part. "He knew about the sacrifice, Isobel told him. He said he knew of a way to keep Elena safe." Ethan comes in "Even I know about the sacrifice does that mean even am a capable helper in this situation?" Damon and Stefan nod at him and I give him a small hug.
Damon turns his attention back to Stefan "And how do we do that?" Stefan sighs "He's not talking. At least not to me anyway." Ethan looks at Stefan and places a gentle hand on his back. "Great work Stefan. Top notch. As if I didn't have enough problems." Damon says and starts walking off. "Hey, I'm sorry about Rose."
Damon turns back "Whatever. I knew the woman for five minutes." Stefan seeing that he has caught his brother's interest, continued "And you cared about her after five minutes. I wonder what that means?" Damon turns his back to Stefan "It means I care, Stefan. It means I'm changing, evolving into a man capable of greatness. Better watch your back, because I may just have to go get a hero-hairdo of my own, and steal your thunder."
"Mom, I think we have a problem." So much for trying to complete the course.

Caroline lets us in. I sit down on the couch with Ethan on my side. "What's wrong?" Stefan asks her. "Tyler knows about you and Damon. He knows that Damon killed Mason. I didn't say a word." What? "So he doesn't know that am a vampire too? I guess we can use it to our advantage." "It must be that woman, Jules. As I remember she had a run-in with Damon." Ethan said looking at Stefan.
"Tyler was so upset. The look on his face, he was so betrayed." Stefan looks at her "Wow, this is bad." "You're not gonna tell Damon, are you?" Stefan looks at her as if she was kidding "No! He already wants to kill him. He thinks all werewolves should die, and he's not wrong to think that, Caroline. I mean, what if Tyler tries to retaliate? He has every right to. He could get himself killed." Caroline thinks for a while "Well, we're not gonna let that happen. We have to get to him and reason with him before he does something stupid. You have to talk to him. Just try to explain, you know? You always know the right things to say, okay? He and I...we're friends."
"We will try our best Care, to save your friend Tyler from Damon and possibly Jules." I look at Ethan to confirm and he nods in agreement.

Ethan and I were roaming around the Town Square waiting for someone to call us if needed. "Hey, Fossil. Do you think we are gonna be in danger when your brother gets here?" Ethan looks at me. "Are you scared? If you are don't be, Damon and Stefan are also my kids, I won't let Klaus do them any harm." He looks at my face longingly, as if I was everything he ever wished for "I won't let him touch you too, darling." His eyes locked onto my lips, and he started leaning towards me, for a second I forgot all about his mystery woman and start to reach his lips.
