The forgotten sister

Chapter eight

Madison P.O.V

After the boys woke me up, I checked my phone and saw about a zillion texts from my brothers. So much to my friends dismay I went home. I thought it was probably stupid to not, since I have school tomorrow morning and my brothers would have my head, if I didn't go home.

I practically had to beg my friends to let me walk home. I wanted to be alone with my thoughts, until I got home.

They finally let me go,as long as I had my location turned on and would text them every five minutes.

I grabbed all my stuff and walked home. Normally the drive from my house to Coopers is about 20 ish minutes, but walking would probably double it. 

I was about 10 minutes in when a car pulled up next to me and started following me. I was worried it was some creep and I'd have to text my friends, but when I turned around I saw it was Theo. 

I smiled and waved at him and he smiled back pulling up right next to me. "Hey Theo!" I said walking up to his car. "Hey Madison, where you headed?" "I'm walking back home." His eyes widened and he scrunched up his eyebrows before answering. "Why don't I give you a ride back home? I don't want you walking alone without anyone with you, anything could happen." I debated my choices, I liked Theo and he was a good friend, but if my other friends found out I got a ride with his, they'd be extremely mad.

I pushed all my thoughts away and just answered him. "Sure" I got into the passenger seat and put my address in his phone. 

"So why are you walking alone? I'm sure one of your friends would've gone with you." I nodded and looked out the window "they tried to come, but I wouldn't let them." He nodded and we stayed silent for the rest of the ride.

When he pulled up to my house I told him thanks and he drove off. I walked up to the door with shaky hands and pushed it open. "Here goes nothing" I whispered to myself.

Zach P.O.V

I was in my office working on some paperwork, when I saw a car pull into the driveway, I gave it a small look thinking it was just one of Madison's friends dropping her off, but I looked back when I saw someone new.

It was some random boy dropping off my little sister. I walked out of my office and into the front room to talk to my sister.

She walked in and jumped a little when she saw me. "Um hi Zach" She whispered trying to walk past me, I just stood in front of her again. "Two things, one next time I ask you to come home, you come home, no questions asked, and you better tell that boys of yours to shut his mouth. Two I better not catch you riding home with some random boy I've never met before." She widened her eyes. "He was just giving me a ride home." She mumbled.

"Your friends could've done that, or I could've picked you up, why didn't you friends give you a ride?" I asked genuinely curious, they're so damn protective of her then they just let some rando guy pick her up.

"They tried to, I wanted to walk them Theo drove by and he offered me a ride, so I said yes." I could feel my blood start to boil. "You we're out by yourself! You know how dangerous our business is! That was incredibly stupid if you. Then you get in the car with a random guy!" I yelled. I could tell her was upset know that I was yelling at her, but that was the only way to get the information across.

"He's not random I met him at school." She said and shoved past me. She walked upstairs to her room and slammed the door.

My gosh that girls going to be the death of me.

Madison P.O.V

I hit my annoying stupid alarm VERY hard when it rang at 7 in the morning. Honestly who decided that school should start this early? Cause me and them got some issues.

I got out of bed and took a quick shower. I put my makeup on and found a pink tank top and white jeans while my hair my drying. Once my hair was finally dried I curled it and put it up in a high pony.

I brushed my teeth, put on perfume, added some jewelry, and packed my cheer stuff for the game later.

I ran downstairs with my two bags and ran outside and waited for the boys to get there. I had cheer practice this morning and the boys all had football so we left got there an hour early. Alex's car finally pulled up and I jumped in the backseat.

"Hi" I said smiling. "Ew how can you be so peppy in the morning." Jonah said sinking into his seat. I giggled "Finally game season!" I said happily. And bonus I didn't have to see my brothers till late tomorrow since I sleeping at Logan's house tonight and I have to work in my science project with Theo and Jace after school tomorrow. They were all smiling at me until Alex looked back at my in the rearview mirror.

"Really Mads? I'm not even sure that in dress code." I rolled my eyes and all the boys looked at me scowling. "Did you bring your cheer jacket?" I shook my head and Daniel started going though his bag until he handed me his sports jacket. 

"Come in this isn't even that bad!" I said looking down at myself.Daniel then aggressively put his jacket on me.

I scoffed but let him do it sinking into my seat. "Not so cheery anymore huh?"

It was finally game time after a LONG day. Jace was annoying during our math project and science one. At least I had Theo with me 

I was know on the sidelines as the game was about to start. I was so exited to be cheering again. The game was about to start and my friends walked over to me all ready for the game. I knew my brothers were on the team, as well as Jace and Theo. 

"Good luck!" I yelled over all the noise. "You too Mads" Cooper yelled back.

I smiled as they ran to do the kickoff loving watching my best friends do something they love.

It was finally half-time so we got to do our show. We walked on the felid and got in position, it was kind of a triangle thing and I was at the point. The music started and everyone that could did a few tucks or backhand spring. We did our dance then went into stunts, which I was a little scared about since I was a flyer.

It started off easy where I just did I front flip and landed into a cradle, but then I had to do an extension, onto a needle jump and land back in the stunt. Thank God I actually landed it. I went back down and did a backhand spring into their arms and they brought me up to a prep. Then they spread out and I landed in a teddy bear position. We went down and finally all the flyers did a full.

I was so happy that the group hit everything.

I ran back and immediately found my friends I ran up and hugged the closest one which I thought was Logan, but he took off his helmet and it was Sawyer. "Oh um I'm sorry I thought you were Logan." He just nodded and I backed away shyly. I turned around and then finally found my actual friends and jumped into Daniel's arms. "Good job Mads!" Alex yelled hugging me.

"Oh my gosh you have he a heart attack every second you did that." Jonah said looking faint. I giggled and went back to my group congratulating them and going back into doing cheers.
