The shuttle landed on the beach, the massive ramped dropped and supplies and the shore party began to disperse. The moon was bright and high in the sky, the younger members began to smile and feel the soft sand, a few jumped into the water.
Mika was pushing Ruby on a wheelchair but she raised her hand.
"I got this" Ruby said
She began to stand up and take her first steps in days, she was clumsy but she made it to edge of the ramp.
She smiled sliding her boots off, she took her first step on earth. Her feet touched the warm soft sand and she smiled taking more steps forward. Mika watched and smiled seeing Ruby smile.
Orga and yang stepped off, yang removed her bandages and reached down and picked up some sand.
"It feels different then the sand on mars" Yang said
Orga nodded.
Just then a small convoy of military trucks arrived bright headlights, Weiss walked past orga ans yang and stepped forward.
The trucks stopped and the lead one doors opened, a tall man with a white military uniform, jarhead haircut stepped out and approached Weiss.
"General Ironwood sir" Weiss said
He nodded and looked at the tekkadan soldiers.
"When you told me these kids were young I had no idea they were this young" he said
"Maybe so, but they brought me here alive and been tearing apart gjallahorn all the way here" She replied
"So I heard" he replied
He walked to Orga with Weiss.
"I hear your the one in charge" he asked
"Yes Orga Itsuka, I take it you must be Ironwood right?" He asked while yang held his arm.
"Correct, get you men and supplies loaded into the trucks, my guys will help, we prepared a feast once we get back to base" Ironwood said as dozens of Atlas soldiers jumped out the trucks and started to help out the guys.
"Thank you we grateful" orga replied
The troops and supplies loaded up everyone got packed into the trucks. The shuttle took off again heading back to space. They drove along a smooth road. Yang was in the last truck of the convoy she looked pale. Everyone started to notice it.
"Hey are you okay Yang?" Ruby asked
"Yeah I'm good probably just motion sickness" Yang said She then stuck head head out the back and threw up.
Weisz was back there too and she shook her head and handed yang a rag, she leaned to yangs ear.
"Its called morning sickness" Weiss whispered in her ear
Yang looked at weiss for a moment and threw up again out the truck.
"God being pregnant sucks" Yang whispered
The trucks arrived at a old base, large runway, large hangers designed for mobile suits, control tower and some other structures.
"Welcome to Sabot Island Base kid" Ironwood said in the lead truck with orga
"Its a old base from the pacific war?" He asked
"Yeah, it was retrofitted for mobile suits during the one year war, retro fitted again for the calamity war before it was abandoned, we got a great price though, we stole it" Ironwood said as the truck began to slow down and stop infront of a hanger.
They all started to get out and they saw a long row of tables and a long row of trays with varies kinds of food. They all got excited, ruby eyes shot wide open. Ironwood came out.
"Get some chow before we do anything" Ironwood said
They all wemt ahead and picked up pates forming a line, soliders were there tk serve them portion size. Yang was feeling a it better so she got a plate and walked along the line getting various of food, she reached the fish area and was confused.
"What is that? Why does it still have a head?" Yang asked
"Its called a Talipa, it's a fish native to this area, something you cant eat not in your condition" Weiss said behind her
"Wait I can't eat certain things while I'm
...well yoi know" Yang asked
"Yes not only that you will have a craving for certain foods at random times" Weiss said
"How do you know this stuff?" Yang asked
"I have a little brother, I was with my mom throughout the pregnancy and she taught me exactly what to do when I have my own" Weiss replied getting some fish.
Yang looked at her for a moment
"Can you help me with this whole pregnancy thing?" Yang asked
"Thats what friends are for" Weiss replied smiling
Meanwhile Mika and ruby sat outside in the beautiful moonlight night, they finsihed eating and they walked to the beach. Ruby stepped in walking in the knee high water with her pants rolled to her.
"Smells salty" Mika said
"This place is so beautiful, it's nothing like Mars, it's almost like heaven" Ruby said walking around in the water
"Heaven, I don't know much about heaven" Mika replied
Ruby turned and walked back to him smiling.
"Well were on a romantic beach, in the middle of the pacific, on a beautiful night, with the one you love the most, that heaven to me" Ruby said holding his hand
Mika kissed her, ruby gently pushed him down and them jumped on him.
"Its been a while" Ruby said blushing
"I know, i want this too" Mika said taking off Ruby's shirt
Meanwhile I space
Lady Carta was furious of the stupidity of the ships captain.
"Thats it you made a mockery of my command all captains are fired, get me someone who can actually do there job" Carta shouted
A crew mate walked in
"Lady Carta we managed to pin point the general landing site of the space rats, we will have there exact location In a few hours" he said
Carta nodded
"Good get the mobile suits ready and contact the naval fleet and tell them to be on stand by once we find the we will launch an all out assault" Carta said
"For we are The the outer earth orbit regulatory joint fleet" Carta shouted
"Presistence and fortitudouis!!!" The men behind her shouted
