I hope you guys enjoy this story who I have written for a good friend of mine 🩷 @Imn0tray 🫠The dimly lit bunker library was an unlikely setting for a private operation, but Sam and Castiel had decided that it was the safest place to hatch their plan. The shelves lined with ancient books created a mysterious ambiance, perfect for their secretive mission.
Castiel, dressed in his usual trench coat and looking quite serious, sat at the library table. He fiddled with a pen as he exchanged a knowing glace with Sam. They were both well aware of Deans feelings for Castiel, but they needed to push him into admitting it.
Sam leaned in, whispering to Castiel, "you ready for this, Cas?"
Castiel nodded, his blue eyes determined. "I am, Sam. It's about time Dean confronts his feelings."
It's not like it has been years or anything...
Sam smirked and replied, "alright, here's the plan. I'm going to pretend to be overly friendly with you, maybe even a little flirty. That should get Deans jealousy going."
The angel raised an eyebrow, looking somewhat puzzled. "Flirty? I'm not sure I understand."
Sam chuckled softly. "Don't worry, Cas. Just follow my lead. We're going to make Dean sweat it out."
As they discussed their strategy, Dean was at the adjacent table, oblivious to their scheming. He was engrossed in his research, a deep furrow etched on his forehead.
At the other table, Sam began to enact their plan. He leaned closer to Castiel and started chatting energetically about the latest case they had taken on. His tone was intentionally light, and he occasionally brushed his hand against Castiel's arm, Castiel, although slightly awkward at first, tried to mimic Sam's friendly banter.
Their antics didn't go unnoticed by Dean, who couldn't help but steal glances in their direction. His jaw clenched as he watched Sam and Castiel interact. A pang of jealousy pricked at him, and he found it increasingly difficult to concentrate on his research.
As the evening progressed, Sam's flirtatious behavior became more pronounced. He laughed at Castiel's jokes a little too enthusiastically and their camaraderie appeared to be more than just friendship. Dean's agitation grew, and he slammed a book shut, garnering their attention.
"What's going on over there?" Dean grumbled, his irritation evident.
Sam and Castiel exchanged a quick, knowing glance before Sam leaned in closer to Castiel, their faces inches apart. "Just having a good time, Dean," Sam replied with a mischievous smile.
Dean rolled his eyes, his abrupt departure left the bunker library in an uneasy silence. Sam's raised eyebrow and the curiosity in his voice lingered in the air like a persistent echo.
"Where are you going, Dean?" Sam questioned, his voice a blend of amusement and concern.
Dean paused just outside the door, his hand resting on the handle. He turned halfway to face Sam, his green eyes flashing with irritation. "Out," he replied curtly, the one-word answer loaded with frustration.
Before Sam could respond, Dean pushed open the heavy bunker door with a force that made it slam shut behind him. The sound reverberated through the corridor, emphasizing the tension that had been building in the room.
The two men exchanged satisfied glances as Dean stormed out of the bunker, the door slamming shut behind him. Their plan had worked better than they expected, and they could practically feel the tension in the air.
Sam leaned back in his chair, smirking at Cas. "Well, that was a good start, don't you think?"
Castiel nodded, a small smile tugging at his lips. "Yes, it seems Dean might be realizing something."
Meanwhile, outside the bunker, Dean paced back and forth in the cool night air. His heart was racing, and he couldn't deny the jealousy that had boiled up inside of him. He knew Castiel and Sam were up to something, and he couldn't let them win this little game.
After a few moments of contemplation, Dean decided he couldn't avoid the issue any longer. He turned back toward the bunker, determined to face whatever his brother and Castiel had in store for him.
Inside the library, Sam and Cas shared a look of anticipation as they heard the door creak open. It was time to come up with a better plan, and they were ready to push Dean to confront his true feelings for Castiel.
