More than friends?

10. Proposing

It's been a long few years after finishing highschool and college. All this time Cooper and Oliver were together. There were some fights, some misunderstanding but they have always found a way to make up.
After they helped in raising Maddie for few years, made their own business and moved in their new big mansion Cooper was ready for a new page in their relationship. He asked Katie to help him to organize the best engagement ceremony and proposal. So they went in shopping. They had so much fun in arranging flowers, decorations, food and so on. But the most magic moment was choosing the ring. Cooper wanted something that would suit Oliver. He ofcourse wanted the most expensive but he knew that Oliver wouldn't want that. So he spent a good few hours looking for the best possible ring. And there it was. Simple platinum ring with small sapphires on it. He also asked the woman in shop to engrave "mi tesoro" inside the ring. IT WAS PERFECT. Now the only thing missing is Oliver. Katie called Gregg, Taylor, Trip, Anna-Kat and Franklin. They all turned off lights, lighted candles and waited. Just after they finished Oliver opened the door of the house. He followed the path of roses petals that brought him in backyard where was their pool. He followed them some more to pavilion. All around were candles and flowers. In the middle was Cooper. At that moment nice music started playing. Cooper cleared his throat and started talking.
"My dearest Oliver, holder of my heart... From the first time we met I was in love with you, even though I didn't want to admit it then. I thought that we will always be best friends, but that wasn't enough. I'm so happy that we admitted our feelings and started relationship. These years were the best of my life. You complete me in every possible way. I want for us to be together for the rest of our lives and more. For a long time I wanted to ask you this question."
He drops on one knee and asks:
"Oliver Otto will you do me the honor and become my beloved husband?"
Oliver was standing in shock and then with teary eyes said "Oh my love, ofcourse yes! I woul be an idiot if I refuse.".
Cooper put ring on Oliver's finger and everyone jumped out from hiding. They started celebrating and congratulating them.
But then Oliver said "EVERYONE STOP!" It was dead silent. Everyone looked at him. Then he said:
"Cooper you know my feelings, you know I'm not a party person. You know me the best and I think it wouldn't be fair for me to be the only one with ring."
Everyone looked confused then excited as he took the box out of his back pocket. He drop on one knee and asked:
"Cooper Bradford will you do me a honor and marry me?"
The ring was gold one with small rubies on it. Inside the ring was a massage "love of my life".
Cooper started crying and huging Oliver while yelling "YES! YES! 100 TIMES YES!"
Everyone was yelling, jumping and singing. Now they have to plan the wedding.
