The magic forest

Chapter three

Everyone in the den was doing their duties. Wind and waterfall were hunting, Snowball, Lava and lavender were patrolling around the den.

"Lavender" Moonfall, a former midnightwing yelled.
"What?" She asked.
"I have to tell you and the others something important" he said.
Lavender called the others and they all sat infront of moonfall, listening to what he was going to say.

"The midnightwing are going to attack the forest guardian" Moonfall said to the cats.
Everyone gasped and looked in shock
They are going to attack tomorrow, and I know the plan.

"First they will grab the gaurds and try and kill them without anyone noticing. And then the midnightwings guard the entrance and attack the citizens.
the king and queen will sneak up behind the forest guardian and try to choke her."

"We need to protect the forest guardian" waterfall growled.
"Yeah!" Wind agreed.

The sun glowed a bright orange and hid behind the trees, The moon rose up into the dark sky and the stars around it glittered.
The cats and dragons slept in their nests, The midnightwings scales glew and lit up the den.

              
                      THE NEXT DAY

"Come on guys it's time" Lavender yelled.
The midnightwings ran out of the den and stretched their huge black wings.
"Lava and waterfall do you want to come with me?" Lavender asked.
"Yeah!" They both said.
"Night could you stay here and guard the other cats" Lavender asked.
Night nodded and the cats leaped up onto the midnightwings backs and flew off into the sky.

"Slow down!" Waterfall yelled.
The midnightwind ignored her.
"We are here!" Lavender yelled.
They all leaped off and ran as fast as they could over to the forest garden.
"Forest guardian!" Lavender yelled.
"Hello, what is the problem" She asked.
"The midnightwings are going to attack you!" She yelled.
The forest guardian looked calm.
"The king and queen are gonna go behind you and attack" she said to her.
"And they are gonna attack the citizens and guards!"
"Thanks for telling me lavender" The forest guardian thanked her.

"Midnightwings!" A gaurd yelled.
The forest guardian looked behind her and saw the two dragons behind her and she hit both at them with her huge claws.
Tons of Midnightwings flooded the exit and blocked it.
"Go to the emergency exit!" The forest guardian ordered.
"Come on everyone" Lavender said.
They all ran to the emergency exit and stood to watch the fight.
The forest guardian easily flung the midnightwings out of the kingdom.
The midnightwings all ran out of the kingdom and flew away.

"Thanks for telling me about the midnightwings" The forest guardian thanked her again.
"Your welcome, but you should heal your kingdom" Lavender said
The forest garden held up her orb and instantly healed everyone.
"We have to go back to our group" Lavender said
"Bye forest garden"
"Bye!" The forest garden waved.
Lavender, Lava and waterfall leaped up onto the dragons backs and flew away.
