Eevee

Eevees are adorable fluffy mammal like creatures. They are covered in a brownish fur, with cream colored fur around their neck and the tip of their tail. As many of you know Eevee is a normal type and evolves depending on their surroundings. I will explain their evolution in a later chapter. Eevee is known as the evolution Pokemon.

Major Appearances

Eevee has had a few major appearances in the anime; for instance May was given an Eevee egg which she hatched and it later evolved into Glaceon. Gary also had an Eevee which he used to beat Ash's Pikachu. Gary was later seen evolving his Eevee into Umbreon in broad DAYLIGHT. One of my favorite major appearances for Eevee has to be Team Eevee and the Rescue Squad. Eevee was part of a boy named Virgil's "rescue squad". The rescue squad was made up of all the evolved forms of Eevee and a rare female Eevee.

Wild Eevees

Wild Eevees are hard to catch with a 5.9% catch rate... that's pretty low. Most wild Eevees are male considering the chances of getting a male Eevee is much higher than the chances of getting a female Eevee. The chance of getting a male is 87.5% and a female is 12.5%, so wild female Eevees are rare.

Eevee Abilities

Eevee's main ability is Run Away, which allows Eevee to always escape wild Pokemon battles. Eevee's other ability is Adaptability; this allows Eevee to adapt to a move that is the same type. Eevee, like many other Pokemon, has a hidden ability, which is... Anticipation. Anticipation allows Eevee to "shudder" if any opponent has a super-effective move.

Breeding Eevees

Eevee can be breed with Ditto, like most other Pokemon. It can also be breed with some pokemon in the field egg group (egg group 1). Eevee is still most likely to be a male when you breed it with a rate of 87.5% male and 12.5% female. Hatching an Eevee egg takes quite a lot of steps. It can take anywhere in between 9180-9434. Your feet will hurt after that walk. When the Eevee egg finally hatches it will start out at level one.
