I had taken 4 showers, and washed my clothes a million times, but the trash smell was finally gone, thank gosh

Also cause the second i got to the fire house the alarm had went off

9-1-1 call

"9-1-1 what's your emergency"

"Im at the Wilshire Bedford medical tower. The elevator just crashed."

"Crashed?"

"The rope just snapped! Okay, fine. But i think my mom hit her head. Please send help!"

"All the cars are locked down. Car three was headed up to 14, and somewhere around eight, the damn thing just started dropping like a rock" The owner said as we walked over as i put a helmet on, they already decided i was going in.

"how many passengers are in the car?" My dad asked looking at him

"Dispatch says two. A mother and her teenage son. The mothers hurt" i said as he nodded

"Where's the car now?" I asked

"Hallway below basement level. That's the other problem"

"The basement is flooded?"

"Since this morning. Third one this month. Pipes in this place are ancient. Every time the construction guys go near them, they burst."

"And did you replace teh elevator cables afterwards?" My dad asked

"The water corrodes them" I added

"We were gonna do that. After we took care of the flooding issue"

"You guys are gonna have to go in from above"

"Nel and Buck can go down with the basket" Hen said as Chim sighed

"Ill get with winch" he said leaving

"Ill lock and tag out the power of the cars. Where's the elevator room?"

"Over here" He said leading my dad to the room, as we followed Chim to get ready

"its ready"

"okay, lets go" My dad said as Buck placed the rope down, and my dad was behind the winch getting the rope through

We were both connected to the ropes and winch, as they slowly lowered us down and onto the elevator

"hello?" We heard someone say as we got on top of the elevator

"Thanks goodness"

"be right there, guys" Buck said looking at them

"Rope coming in" Buck said dropping the rope, as i lowered myself into the elevator the water to my waist

"my son right right behind me, yes?" She asked as i tied the rope around her

"Yes, he'll be right behind you"

"ill be right there, okay, dont even worry about it"

"Okay, bring her up" I said over the walkie talkie as they began to pull her up

"okay, shes up. You're next lets do this" I smiled as the water was right below my chest

"Uh, we need another harness"

"Coming down"

"What the hell happened?" My dad asked hearing the elevator move

"The weight of the water is pulling us down" i said over the radio
