{POV Third Person}
The trio realized that the house was indeed Esther's childhood home, instantly putting them at ease. Knowing that the place holding all their cherished memories was in good hands, they felt reassured about the prospect of frequent visits.
After a casual chat about their lives and savoring the sandwiches prepared by Ranboo, it dawned on both Ranboo and Esther that they had attended the same school during their upbringing. That's why the child in the old photos appeared so familiar. With excitement in the air, they all relished catching up and, before long, found themselves heading out the door, making their way to the mall.
{Time Skip}
Finally, they arrived at the mall. Evelyn wasted no time and immediately began dragging Esther and Ranboo to the first clothing store she could spot. It turned out that when Rue had come to pick up Evelyn from Tom's apartment, Rue had invited her and Esther to a party. That's why they needed new clothes as well. The three of them entered the store, and Evelyn began rummaging through the racks in search of some stylish attire.
Ranboo and Esther knew this process would take a while, so they found a comfortable spot near the changing rooms and continued their conversation. After some time, Evelyn returned with a stack of outfits, and they all took turns trying them on, though none seemed quite right.
This pattern repeated itself in several stores, and the trio was growing tired. It was in one particular store when Ranboo and Esther heard Evelyn gasp. They both looked over, and Evelyn quickly asked a question before dashing over.
"Esther! Do you want to match?"
She held up two outfits, both featuring a space-themed pattern. They were simply stunning...
{I'm not bothered explaining these masterpieces}
Esther gasped, just as Evelyn had a moment ago. They walked over to their girlfriend and grabbed the outfit.
"Wanna try them on?" Evelyn smiled.
Esther gave a quick nod, and the two of them walked into the changing rooms together. After a short while, they both emerged, with Evelyn immediately striking a pose and Esther not far behind. Ranboo laughed, amused by the two wannabe models, and quickly snapped a picture before taking a good look at them.
"They look perfect," Esther commented while admiring Evelyn.
"I couldn't agree more; they're absolutely divine," Evelyn giggled.Ranboo smiled at the two lovers, envisioning a future where it would be them and Tommy.
Evelyn paid for the outfits, and the hunt was back on for Ranboo's outfit. They strolled for another 30 minutes before Evelyn abruptly stopped in her tracks, captivated by a suit displayed in one of the store windows. It was truly stunning.
(I Drew it myself 😌)
The suit was elegant, professional, and it matched the fancy theme perfectly. Evelyn practically sprinted into the store with Esther and Ranboo close on her heels. She asked for a suit in their size, and they tried it on. Of course, it was perfect. It hugged all the right places and instilled confidence in Ranboo. Evelyn inquired about matching masks for the suit, and they promptly brought one out for them.
Once again, it was perfect.
They had accomplished their mission - finding the perfect outfits for Tommy's birthday. To celebrate, they went out to dine at a relatively upscale restaurant and wrapped up the day at Ranboo's place, watching movies and engaging in lively conversations about anything and everything...
