Harry woke up screaming in pain right as the clock struck midnight on the 1st of August. Flames burned everything around but never touched him. The bruises and scars that littered his body disappeared as he felt even more pain from the top of his head and back. Then he felt something emerge from his back as he blacked out from the pain. He awoke as moonlight flickered through his closed eyelids. Harry sat up and looked around seeing that the fire was gone from the night before but so was his aunt's house. All that was left intact from the fire was Harry and his chest which had all of Harry's things left in it.
'I need to leave before anyone notices the ruble,' Harry thought.
Harry got up from where he lay carefully. Once he was standing, he noticed he had wings sticking out of his back and a small bump near the top of his head. Harry ignored it thou and walked over to his chest and got out his wand from the very top. He then closed his chest back up before dragging it to the road and pointing his wand out. He knew that the best course of action was to get to Gringotts as quickly as possible before Dumbledore and his order of the fried chickens noticed what happened. He didn't even have to wait a second for the night bus to get there.
"I need to get to Gringotts if possible," Harry told the man before he could say anything.
"Seems you boy just went through an inheritance," Stan Shunpike says before helping Harry get his chest onto the bus.
Once Harry was situated the bus moved at top speed. The bed Harry sat on quickly leached forward before it completely stopped moving. Houses and mailboxes jumped out of the way of the bus like they had the first time Harry had taken the night bus. Before long the Night Bus had stopped Infront of the Leaky cauldron. Harry grabbed his chest and pulled it off the bus and into the restaurant and inn.
"Let me take that for you Lad," Tom the barkeeper said right after Harry entered the building.
"Thank you," Harry said. "Do you happen to have an empty room for a few days."
"Yes, I do," Tom answered. "Here is the key. I will take your bag up to the room. You need to go to Gringotts though before you sleep."
"Is it open at this time," Harry asked.
"Yes, it is," Tom answered. "Now you must get going before to many people start coming to shop before the rush."
Harry took the key from the owner before walking out the back door and opening the entrance into the alley. Harry quickly walked past all of the shops towards the large marble building at the end of the main part of the ally. As Harry walked up the steps to the bank the Goblins outside bowed lowly before opening the doors for him. Harry was confused but took it as something pertaining to his inheritance.
"Master goblin I wish to get an Inheritance test," Harry said once he got to the main Goblin within the hall.
"Mr. Potter, we have been waiting for you," The goblin said stepping of his podium and moving in front of his desk. "Follow me."
Harry quickly followed the goblin to a door which opened. Once through the door there was a long hallway that had many doors lining both walls. They walked for about 3 minutes before stopping Infront of a door towards the right which was by far the most ornate. The door opened much like the last.
"Ah, Mister Potter," A voice sounded from behind a desk in the middle of the room. "I have been waiting to see you since your birthday yesterday."
"Master goblin," Harry asked. "Why have you been wanting to see me?"
