-COFFEE SHOP AU-

As Anne made her way to her local coffee shop, her heart fluttered with excitement at the thought of seeing Marcy. The two had been dating for a few months now, and while they'd only been on a handful of dates, Anne knew that she was falling head over heels for Marcy.

Marcy was waiting for her at their usual spot, sipping on a mug of coffee and scrolling through her phone. She looked up and saw Anne approaching, her face breaking into a beautiful smile.

"Hey, there you are!" Marcy said excitedly, standing up to give Anne a hug.

Anne melted into Marcy's embrace, feeling a sense of comfort and safety wash over her. She took a deep breath and relaxed into the hug, feeling the tension of her long work week slip away.

After a few moments, Marcy pulled back and took Anne's hand, leading her to the counter to order their coffee. They stood side by side, chatting and joking as they waited for their drinks, their hands intertwined.

As they sat down, Marcy's shoulder brushed against Anne's. Anne turned to Marcy, her heart racing as she looked into her eyes. Without a word, Marcy leaned in and pressed her lips against Anne's.

The kiss was sweet and full of passion. Anne melted into Marcy's embrace, feeling a sense of warmth and safety wash over her. She knew in that moment that this was something special; that Marcy was the girl of her dreams, and that she was lucky to have her in her life.

As they sat there, lost in each other's embrace, Anne knew that she never wanted to let Marcy go. She was the one, and she was hers, now and forever.

As their coffee cooled, Marcy and Anne lost track of time, lost in conversation. They talked about everything and nothing, laughing and joking, sharing bits and pieces of their lives. Anne felt like she could talk to Marcy about anything and everything, and she reveled in the comfort of their connection.

Finally, as the sun began to set, Anne glanced at her watch and groaned. "I have to get going, otherwise, domino is going to eat my furniture for dinner."

"Oh no, not furniture-eating cats!" Marcy exclaimed, making a show of looking scared. "Wait, does that seriously happen?"

Anne grinned. "Not yet, but who knows? She's definitely a little cutie, but she can be a menace when she wants to be."

"I can relate," Marcy said, laughing. "Just don't go to bed mad at her, okay?"

Anne leaned across the table and gave Marcy a quick peck on the cheek. "I won't. In fact, I won't be mad at anything tonight, just for you."

Marcy blushed, glancing away. "You're the best, you know that? I can't believe I found you."

Anne felt her heart swell with warmth at Marcy's words. "I can't believe I found you, either."

As Anne got up to leave, Marcy stood with her, holding her hand tightly. "I'll walk you to your car."

"You don't have to," Anne said, still blushing.

"I know," Marcy said. "But I want to."

Anne smiled. "Thank you."

They walked together, hand in hand, to Anne's car, lost in their own little world. It was just another day, another evening, but for Marcy and Anne, it was everything.
